Who would of thought More executive orders in the wake of the Navy yard shooting, yes Obama has more ammo to bring to the fight and he will again go ahead and make himself look like he is really doing something by writing these orders all this while our economy is tanking Gas is Rising, well the country is just falling apart, this guy wants in the worst way to be the guy that takes law abiding citizens guns from them and is willing to watch the country sink while he does it .

In the wake of the shooting at the Washington Navy Yard, President Obama plans to implement more executive orders and reiterated his commitment to strengthening gun laws, including expanding background checks to sales online and at gun shows, CBS reported Tuesday.
“The president supports, as do an overwhelming majority of Americans, common-sense measures to reduce gun violence,” spokesman Jay Carney said.
Obama has been powerless to get legislation passed despite a string of mass shootings during his presidency.
Only hours after a dozen people were gunned down at the Navy facility, and while police still were treating the scene as a crime investigation site Monday, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., issued a statement calling for more gun controls from Congress.

The point is, he wants to take guns from those who aren't law abiding citizens like all the massacre shooters.

that makes sense. By the same logic he should start by issuing an order not to massacre people--common sense = problem solved.
Of course there's the equally common sense that criminals don't care about laws, so laws restricting guns have a more profound effect upon law-abiding citizens and that's what people have a problem with. Laws done to pacify fears rather than increase safety are not a workable solution to gun crime. I get that it feels good to do something, but feeling good and doing good aren't always one in the same thing.

The real kicker is there's already laws that could have prevented this massacre. I've heard it reported that this guy had an incident involving reckless discharge of a firearm or some such--he was arrested for it-- that's a felony, he could have lost his right to possess firearms, but he didn't-- why wasn't that law enforced? That's the million dollar question, not what new law do we need?

jafar in a perfect world that may be so but even Obama knows the laws are already there to keep many criminals away from guns, those that have them now ( with the laws already in place ) will have them when new laws are made up also, Log did a great job in explaining

This is a nation of over 300 million people of course there are going to be some high profile shooting cases for the anti-gun traitors to use. Obama being one . I know I have read stuff from the White House saying he intended more EO's. But as of yet I have not heard WHAT they are, or what they say. That's kinda important.
