Love And Reciprocation Oft Fantasy Of Lonely Hearts

She saw such handsome features, his eyes and strong arms
She - ravishing creature succumbed to his dear charms
Her ecstasy was a river in deepest flood
Sensual passion took hold, HE was in her blood
Could ever reality break such binding chains
Or future nights denied, bring ever greater pains?

He saw such beauty, such grace in her soft blue eyes
Thinking this was treasure reality 'oft denies
His longings then burst forth like a collapsing dam
She then gave that smile that cried out, " here I am"
Mad raging thoughts came of sweetest nights in her bed
Magnificent fantasy born in heart and head!

Party over, neither had a single word said.
Moment had come, now just as swiftly, it had fled!

There In The Fast Fading Shadows Of Looming Dusk

There in the fast fading shadows of looming dusk
emptiness sighing as space in an empty husk
broken only by the dark whispering of Fate
and swirls of wind playing savage tunes of- "too late",
Dare I, to enter through its harsh welcoming door
attempting to deny that gaping hole life tore
or remain here to feel coming of midnight blues
assume courage, to fight in a better man's shoes!
Woe the poorer choices in this life we must make
to seize the fleeting moment or else bake a cake
whilst waiting for saving grace that oft does not come
hoping and finding, the gain is less than the sum,
Shall I, step back and deny this dark, dooming hour
beg heart and soul to again gift that awesome power
or else just flip a coin, let Fate again decide
renew life or else in emptiness again hide?

Dare I, to enter through its harsh welcoming door.
Attempting to deny that gaping hole life tore.

Note: Truly blessed are those that have never had
to face such adversity in life. That which youth is
almost always incapable of making the correct decision.
Wherein greater wisdom was demanded and youth had
not yet gained such. And sometimes never does...

Verses From The Remnants Of Broken Chains,
    Series Conclusion

    **********

Soft Cries From The Remnants Of Broken Chains

I 've broken the deep silence that is profound
Slept amidst low cracklings of dying leaves
Lent my heart, sold it pennies on the pound
But, tis agony of your loss that grieves.

    *****

Mere Shreds From The Remnants Of Broken Chains

You begged to rest on this rocky ground
Lying just beneath that cold chamber door
Midnight pains hardly made a frantic sound
Yet pride lost whilst making pitiful score.

    *****

Voided From The Remnants Of Broken Chains

You limp on your bitter, frost-bitten foot
And I, my dying soul cry all the more
There in that love-torn basket love was put
You left seeking gems on another shore.

Whispers From The Remnants Of Broken Chains

In fresh twilight, loving whispers float free
Life echoed young call to remember love
Hope rested under its usual shade tree
Massive cold raindrops fell from far above.

    *****

Waking From The Remnants Of Broken Chains

There waits truth, far beyond the shoreless sea
Waves lashing and bright bold thunder crashing
In world, where life was a magical tree
With all the lakes and mighty fish splashing.
