She Was Beautiful With Glistening Stardust In Her Eyes

She was beautiful with glistening stardust in her eyes
Her smile a boon so sweet that truth nobody can deny
She in tiny shorts shows off those heavenly tanned legs
So damn sexy, enough to make this poor man kneel to beg
Her glowing heart makes angry sun rage with envy and hate
She so sweet and innocent pursued by Dark Hands of Fate
And I the lonely guy that wanted her to be all mine
Knowing true love would prevail, I on its dessert did dine
Far too soon, she decided that we could not ever be
That fateful morn she packed up and to Texas did flee
I walked the floor with exorbitant rage my best friend
Black Hand of Fate had brought our romance to its tragic end.

So ends the story of a fairy queen that I once knew.
Tho she was in no iron cage, up and away she flew!

As I Watched The Fiery Red Sun Slip Behind The Mountain

As I watched the fiery red sun slip behind the mountain
I tossed a silver dollar in the wishing well fountain
My dear wish was for the hand of my very passionate lover
And life together that such bountiful happiness covers
She that tells me, "my darling, my sleepy head, rise thee from bed"
Let us sightsee this world, and watch that huge falling ball of red
Me there pretending not to hear, but my lover knows my game
She laughingly dances right on over and yells out the same
And then she lays a very soft and a long passionate kiss
And that is the sweetest blessing that I did not want to miss
I reached out to snatch my lover into our large silk bed
Saying, "daring let just stay here and make sweeter love instead."

As I watched the fiery red sun slip behind the mountain.
I tossed a silver dollar in the wishing well fountain.

As God Of Love Brilliantly Blessed Light Cast Its Glow Upon Me

As God of Love brilliantly blessed light cast its glow upon me
My fertile trees waved their waving blossoms in great release
An aroma of perfumed air breath cast its great heart anew
Suddenly there on the sandy beach my new darling stood
The cool gentle breeze its dear arms wrapped her right on up
She stood there as goddess with long windblown blond hair
My excited heart felt as if was going to explode!
My thinking was this, man could it be, she is that true one
Awestruck, I could only think as I could not dare to speak!

Struck dumb by such very rare beauty is strange way to be
So true, tis like a new bright cloud zaps ones exploding heart
Time stands still, stunned mind races into golden Heaven
Oh my, did that goddess just look over and wave at me!
I simply cannot believe it, did that sexy girl see
I do not know how long I was frozen like a statue
As senses returned, I somehow managed to wave back!

Was this a dream, a mirage, did my deceiving eyes lie
Had hope, sincere prayer finally to me came to be
This was it, I felt uncontrollable urge to find out
With tinge of fear, I thought nothing venture, nothing gained
I walked that short distance which seemed like a long mile
She was there, a tall goddess not even looking my way
With greatest hope in my hard beating breast, I said hello.

The Fiercest Black Beast That A Knight Once Slew

Sharp blade penetrated black blood flowed about
Mighty hairy black beast groaned then vomit let out
In a flash I kicked it in the vulnerable spot
Enraged, with all my power gave it another shot
Plunged my silver dagger in to bleed it more
Thinking of those it killed, vowed I to even the score
Nothing was easy as it got me with left blow
Knocked back, a moment or two I didnt know
Quickly in nearby ravine it ran back to hide
But I saw, got it with a cut as in I slide
Its rank black blood squirted right into both my eyes
OF balance, fierce beast had taken me by surprise
With another savaged hit it bloodied my cheek
Used its dagger claws, nothing about it was meek
Gashed my arm and my red blood gushed on out
Stepping back, avoid its other strike I gave a shout
Immediately, my chance to strike deathly blow
This shall slay this huge, wicked monster that I know
With herculean might I plunged my sword in so deep
I sent that beast into its most damnable sleep
Stepping back, I watched the beast take its last breath
Under my breath, I prayed God gift it quick death
As it lay there, I saw its spirit its body leave
I thought, would Hell send another to earth deceive?

As deep darkness surges into these old decaying veins
This wounded heart so struggles to gift out slower pulsing beats
How dare wicked demons beat on me with freshly cut canes
Around this bed, a throng of hideous monsters take seats
With faces that exudes the angry hatred they have for me
They grab me, proceed to cast me into a poison sea.

O' lord, please have dear mercy and unto this poor soul gift.
Send golden rays of sweet hope and freedom to me uplift.

Next, they take me to a dungeon dirty dark and deep
Took long ropes and beat me until my aching body bled
Rousing me from short heaven-sent state of my peaceful sleep
Then they showed me hell where they torture the truly dead
One ugly beast gave me a small piece of green molded bread
And laughed saying, no boy we want of friend well fed.

O' lord, please have dear mercy and unto this poor soul gift.
Send golden rays of sweet hope and freedom to me uplift.

Next I saw in the corner a red thing, a great fire start
Dancing around it as its huge hungry flames rose and rose
In they brought a cart of decaying human body parts
Then three of them went over and three rotten arms they chose
Then green one, hit me in my face, with a long flaming stick
And my bloody face proceeded all clotted blood to lick.

O' lord, please have dear mercy and unto this poor soul gift.
Send golden rays of sweet hope and freedom to me uplift.

Cried as I felt those red-hot flames my body badly burn
As they danced with such evil glee and sang out their chant
Saying you worthless fool all this pain you so truly earn

Then they next, beat me with all of that rotted human meat
Saying, puny human, how do you like our little feat?

O' lord, please have dear mercy and unto this poor soul gift.
Send golden rays of sweet hope and freedom to me uplift.

That moment light shone through the dungeon casting its hope
And the beasts scattered for the small shadows that remain
Saying climb this, come with me I will give you all the dope
Beautiful entity all glowing cast me a long chain
Saying, your prayers were heard and I came to your rescue
Guardian angel I am friend, this feat is what I do!

O' lord, please have dear mercy and unto this poor soul gift.
Send golden rays of sweet hope and freedom to me uplift.

Looking at that dungeon pit I saw demons wail and cry
As the devil came to beat and give them unholy hell
They were thrashing around, begging it and asking it why
Then the earth cast it dark curtain and closed its black veil
Soon I was in my home all my body completely healed
Entity said, young man your future with us is sealed!

True Tragedy Whenever A Great Romance Dies

She was my beautiful flower, her soft colors enthralling me
Breathtakingly sweet her most tender kisses and warming hugs
I had found my angel, she with such dark tanned sexy legs
That cool night we made our maddingly love, all of her I see.

And she was mine and I was her lover so very true.
We had found our paradise and babe it was me and you!

I saw her with no clothes, what a heavenly sight to see
She slowly undressed me, and was laughing with such glee!

She was my angel, her long black hair so truly divine
We lay upon the beach-sand, our hearts melding together
All we could do was so deeply kiss and touch each other
I was her dearest lover and she angel that was mine!

For four fantastic months nothing could tear we two apart.
She was my sweetest girl and I gave her my loving heart!

That August, her heart was broken when her mother died.
She my dear lover, shut herself in for weeks she cried.

Then the hurt came , she sent me a notice she was leaving
Her family wanted her home and California was far away
I tried my best to keep my sweetheart but to no avail
From then on it was my broke heart and poor soul a 'grieving

As days turned to weeks farther away we did both drift.
Then my job changed I went on six straight long nightshifts.

As Fate had sadly decreed, our love was just not to be.
We in pain then parted, never again did I her see.

Why Sweetheart Why Do I So Love, Then Life So Carves Me Up

As I wrote a surging stab of pain splashed into my brain
Electric agonizing pulses ate ever deeper within
I wanted to touch love but darkest devil bid me abstain
Crying out, "You are mine dog such would be a mad, raging sin
This old aging heart knew but was in no shape to such dispel
My spirit had fallen into jet-black tangle of despair
I knew as it ate into my soul, this is it, unholy hell.

As I wrote quantum surging of pain splashed into my brain
Electric agonizing pulses ate ever deeper within
I wanted to touch love but darkest devil bid me abstain
Crying out, "You are mine dog such would be a mad, raging sin
This old aging heart knew but was in no shape to such dispel
My spirit had fallen into jet-black tangle of despair
I knew as it ate into my soul, this is it, unholy hell

Why sweetheart why do I so love, then life so carves me up
Darling, can truth gift me much needed stroke of granted light
Wiil you be golden lover and let me then on love sup
Upon the romance and we share each other all each night.
I watch you baby as you comb your hair what a fine sight
And then when you move on over, I watch you get undress
You lean to sweetly kiss me asking if I am alright
I lie and say to you yes, but my heart is in a mess.
I've walked these sorrows until my heart so truly deep aches
Why dearest darling did you so love, why do I so bled
You see me now, soul shattered heart kicked and it then breaks
Life went from our paradise, to a love that is now dead.
Cry I, this greatest of misery finds a way to end.
And your beautiful heart sees fit to our love thus renew
Dearest darling please, I do not want to just be good friends
I guess we are sunk, and all our loving plans are now through.

I knew as it ate into my soul, this is it, unholy hell
As I wrote quantum surging of pain splashed into my brain
Electric agonizing pulses ate ever deeper within
I wanted to touch love but darkest devil bid me abstain

With His Six Shooter In Hand He Emptied Its Load

In a whiskey glazed stupor his horse he shot
Under blue-wailing moon his heart, a broken mess
And then his emotions tossed in their sad lot
Somewhere with lost hope, his failures he did confess
But as image appears, her beautiful face smiles
She, kind goddess that had stolen his lonely heart
Over and over, the argument -always starts
And then the swarms of excruciating deep pains
Fight to make it leave, his eyes look to the blue sky
Silently these words he says, "My Lord help me please"
Falling to dusty ground, he asks again the why
Did God allow that beautiful witch his heart seize
Then romantic thoughts flooded a confused brain
Her dear vision so enticed and refused to leave
It all was far too much, far too great a love-strain
Next how she had him, ready to again deceive!
But oh no, not again, his intellect then spoke
Do not let this dark, deceptive thing again hurt
Recall this truth, she had made his life a bad joke
Remember torture, the loss, her poison black spurts
And how she laughed as his tender heart she broke!

The cowboy then rose on up from the desert sand.
Swearing true, she and this are both accursed land!
Mounting his horse towards Tombstone onward he rode
Swearing, never let his wounded heart be "stoled"!
Then a broad smile so magically it appeared
Up the trail just head vision of her as he feared!
With his six shooter in hand he emptied its load
And laughed out load, as on to Tombstone he rode!

The young cowboy made it all the way to Tombstone
His young life was then about to meet pretty girl
She too was standing proudly there and all alone
Fate decreed it, they joined to give life a whirl!

Pondering The Sad And Fateful Decision

    there he sat
    his brain peddling along
    heart fluttering in space
and that bright summer sky kissing his face
    mind recalling trouble
    her face appears
she that ripped his flesh and smashed his world
    there is no reprieve
    certainly is no hope
    he ponders the unthinkable
a sharp knife in his right hand
birds fly and settle in the sycamore tree...

such vibrating colors and splendid tunes
    his heart started growing lighter
    music soothes the wounded beast
    yes, today he would walk
    back into this dark world
    fight the dreaded beast
to rise in morn and smile
    eat a fine breakfast
    maybe find a new job
    why not he mused
is my life ready for joy
    yes it tis
    brain fired up and
    heart grown lighter
    then suddenly he saw
    her face and darkness return
he sits and sharpens that knife
    after all he thought
    what the hell is life.....

    after all
    what the hell is living
    but a black curse
    a lonely death
    he remembers
    his knife
    sharpens its
    long blade
    and muses death
    would it be
    so bad
    pain would stop
    sleep would fall
    and
    his heart
    stop crying....

    again his brain
    thought
    what is living
    but a curse
    a curse he endures
    as she went away
    and now so will he...

And Throughout Vast Purple Range, Visions Cascade Down

No fictive dream deludes for now, so her heart bleeds
And weeping spirit no comfort dares to arrive
She that loved him took care of his earthly needs
Now hides in darken forest, just barely alive
And would hope to her ever really come
As she prayed for dear life and needed relief
She found that two parts does not always find its sum
In her wounded heart was nothing but deeper grief
Her precious lover had gone away oversea
Alone on dreaded nights, his tender voice she heard
And his tall, handsome ghost at night, she could still see
In dark, she tried desperately to hug those words.

And throughout vast purple range, visions cascade down.
And Fate her young life took with a dark, vicious frown.

    Sonnet, dark

Note a friend asked me to write a quick sonnet.
Isaid ok, I can write a ten to fifteen minute sonnet, and it will be good.
So I summoned up my muse and she laughed. She bet you ten bucks you can not do it in ten minutes.
I did, so this is it with no edits. Truly I did not think I could do it but she gave me first 4 verses in about ten seconds,.
After that it was me and my old tired brain splashing out ink.
In my youth I once wrote that fast all the time but old age has caught up with me now.

O' What Is War But The Mad Child Of Greed And Hate

By uppity arrogance the mouse challenges the lion
And his haughty crown is fused nickel and tin
But 'tis true dark-clad world has far too much cryin'
All brought about by hungry appetites of mad men.

Mankind does not admit arrogance of the womb.
Truth of utter despair of lying in a tomb.

O' what is war but the mad child of greed and hate
Armies march blindly into destruction and death
But crazy leaders love to foolishly tempt dark Fate
As they parade puffed up and plan with whispered breath.

Mankind does not admit arrogance of the womb.
Truth of utter despair of lying in a tomb.

History shows its results, tragic dark dying
And the abject misery needlessly born
With those at home fearful and hearing the lying
From government and politicians we should scorn!

Mankind does not admit arrogance of the womb.
Truth of utter despair of lying in a tomb.

Such bitter conflict indeed does some heroes show
And we here at home do acknowledge their brave deeds
We poets may even polish them til they glow
Sad, all that does is fertilize war's future seeds!

Mankind does not admit arrogance of the womb.
Truth of utter despair of lying in a tomb.

Is it true, war is fruits of arrogance and pride
That mankind has dark-set violence born within
Sure, such blatant truth we in vain so try to hide
Dare we not admit, that it is a tragic sin!

Mankind does not admit arrogance of the womb.
Truth of utter despair of lying in a tomb.

That The Blinded Old Poet Sat And Thought On Sunny Day

O' how harsh the sand blasts these wondering blue eyes
Aegeus could only see, smooth turbulent skies
As if heavy angels danced as flying sands float by
Even the darkest of demons dared not ask why!
Is that greatest artistic instinct permanently primitive
That the blinded old poet sat and thought on sunny day
His sad life in shambles but his poetry truly attentive
He struggled with tender heart and then lost his way.
Could the Vorticists find greater beauty in his inked words
Or the swirling winds of Nature as he softly slings ink
Was it better to sing ever so softly with the songbirds
Or present savage word from a dark brain that can think
Dare he rhyme with audacious colorful beauty divine
Could he walk back false serenity that his dreams gave
Yet again he heard her say, here your life is doing fine
Else about another wild and crazy-ass party she raves!

He searched the highest Heavens for another thoughtful link.
As he expertly pours himself a much large glass of white wine.
