    Default the bent prop project

    most of us have seen this photo. more likely the vid



    one of the biggest finds. we've all seen the dramatic video of that B-24 Liberator that lost its left wing. it appears now, with the help of islanders its been found. in Palau



    and a son is reunited with his long lost dad



    almost 80,000 US MIA's remain. about 70,000 from WW2

    Namvet. Great story. And this doesn't even mention the thousands of B-17 crews that were intentionally sent over Germany without fighter protection. Most young Americans today have little, if any idea about the great toll of life WWII took on the U.S.A.

    But then. Ask them about SNOOP DOG's last hit, or Miley's excuse for not showing up, and that's HISTORIC for them.

    in the EU they are uncovering and digging up a lot of those to. and german to as well as construction moves forward. they are unearthing more and more. in Palau they also found this F4U cosair, looks in good condition. a possible rebuild

    Amazing finds. That reminded me of George HW. Bush who flew a Dauntless (I think), and watched kamikazi's attack our ships while he floated around, waiting to be rescued by a sub.
    Those pilots back then had STEEL...Not IRON, Not Aluminum, but STEEL running through their bodies. Thanks for the photos.

    actually AT, Bush flew the TBM avenger. he was shot down over chichi Jima during the Iwo Jima fight. he claims he rowed for his life because Japanese were after him. the OIC on chichi was later acused of eating the livers of downed pilots. they caught his ass after the war and he swung for it
