In my opinion, one of the best Industrial songs from one of the best Industrial albums by one of the best Industrial bands ever.

This is like an episode of '24' turned into music! The tension and suspense is constantly ratcheted up and up til it becomes almost unbearable.

Nice. VERY nice! Underrated band. I have a fondness for that entire genre, although at the top of my list is still Tristania:

Oh, don't I know it! Quite the opposite, I'm afraid!

Actually, the late, great gentleman in my avatar, upset that a style he all but invented was being taken over by a bunch of lefties uttered that quote of mine.

I take it you are referring to 'The Clash'? I deeply love the Clash, despite Strummer using that band as medium for his inane messages. Doesn't matter much: the music was great most of the time, although I prefer their earlier, more purely punkish albums, and didn't care much for their playing around with reggae and such.

The ramones, the sex pistols and the clash hit the scene at the same time. None can claim proprietorship. Joe was a fucking genius. I met him several times and was always in awe. Agree or fucking disagree with his politics. the man knew his shit. And I loved their reggae and rockabilly influence. It's what made them the only and that matters

Generally speaking, politics doesn't interfere in the enjoyment of music unless the music sucks or they're not very subtle about it.

I've probably listened to more KMFDM than anyone else this summer, and they might as well be the official band of the Occupy Wall Street movement! 180 degree opposite to where I'm at, and sometimes I'd like to work Sascha Konietzko over with a baseball bat, but the music is so first rate.

However, I won't touch Rage Against the Machine with a ten foot pole [despite Morello being a fairly decent guitarist], The Exploited [Wattie Buchan shouting 'Maggie You're a ****!', their ode to Margaret Thatcher, makes my blood boil to this very day!] and others.
