    Default Hot Dogs

Okay, I usually eat mine with mustard and onions. I have on occasion been known to dope them up with chili and cheese as well.

I prefer to use Hillshire farm beef sausage to hot dogs when I have anything to say about it.

Funny, I just ate dinner a short while ago and hot dogs it was! Too lazy to go look, just know they were beef and organic, some yellow and green label. With beans of course. And sliced cucumbers for dipping in some weird sauce my wife makes,

Hot dog must always have mustard on it, regardless of what else, even if mixed with ketchup. Mustard with chili. Mustard with sauerkraut. Mustard and cooked onions. Mustard and raw onions. Sometimes even mustard with a little extra mustard!

I don't eat a lot of hot dogs, but I'll eat them if we're making them.

The butcher I've been going to for over 25 years makes his own and they're pretty good but if I'm getting store bought I get middle-of-the-road. They're all made out of shit basically and the really cheap ones taste like it. The average ones still taste like hot dogs.

What I put on them? Depends on my mood. Chopped onions is almost a must, and shredded cheese. Chili's if they're not stemmy or jalapenos. Sriracha!

Dogs and kraut in the crock pot - oh yeah, but just with mustard and onion.

Chilli dogs are good but only if they're gotten from a stand or grill.

Jalapenos on hot dogs are good. I'm a Texan. I'll eat jalapenos on just about anything.

    Habaneros not so much.

I rarely will eat a hot dog, but when I do, only turkey dogs, and my topping preference is what we used to call in NYC "ketchup onions", and mustard.

    You gotta problem with that?

Blech! I can't stand any turkey product. I love turkey, but only as turkey.

We rarely eat hot dogs, because there's bad stuff in them we don't need to get into here... but when we do, we get these :

They claim to have no by-products, and they're much more expensive than regular hot dogs... so maybe they really are "only premium cuts of beef". I don't know, but there's a huge difference between these and the regular ones.

    Mustard, relish and jalapenos.
