Correct pronunciation of food items

My favorite is Havarti but I can never say it correctly. I always say "have a rah tea" and people say "whaaat?" I guess it's "hah var tea"

Also, edamame. I say "end a may". It's "ed a mom a"

Anyone else have trouble pronouncing a food item?

Being Italian American (half) I pronounce Italian foods like my dad did. Prosciutto we say
PRO SHUTE and mozzarella cheese we say MOTTS A RELA. A former co-worker would order a quiche as a QUICKY. You should see the waiter when she'd ask for a quicky.

Basalmic vinegar - or ba-l-salmic, I have a hard time with this for some reason, I always figured it was the dyslexic in me.
