The new addition to my family, 11 week old male, and he's awesome!! The friendliest little bugger in the world. Trying to get pictures but he is tearing around the house like a nut! I already introduced him to the Chihuahua, and they were sniffing noses like the loved one another, then the new little guy gave Porter a love swat, and the love was over, and Porter growled. For now we will let the kitty get acclimated.

So yes, not only am I in the dog house, probably forever, the cat isn't mine! She immediately gave the kitten to my son and said it's his cat. Then she proceeded to name him herself. I wanted to name him after a Steelers player, but couldn't think of any players I liked with cool names (Le'Veon would be weird for a cat). So of course the woman named him Nero, which is black in Italian.

I'll get a few more pics when all calms down. I have to go keep an eye on the woman, make sure she isn't poisoning my food!

Him on the bed playing with his new toys:

    Pretty kitty.

I love cats too. We have three. 2 we recently rescued and the third was given to my daughter by my cousin when she had to have her other kitten put down due to an enlarged heart.

The Ol Water pistol my cats think the water gun is a game, all I have to do is pick it up and they run like hell but the minute they hear me sit back down they are right back at it Now the coke can thing would work, I try and make a noise (which they know means I am done with the game ) and it scares them most times, a couple of coins in a tin can would make enough noise to do the trick I believe, Thanks

Also I have a 80lb Bully ( a Bully is a short wide Pitt ) that when the cats really piss me off I try to tell to eat the cats, she gets all excited ( tail whipping a million miles a hour ) and jumping all over, but then she runs to the cats and licks them Dam cats have brain washed my guard dog I swear when I am not around they do things just to piss me off, such as the squirt bottle is on the floor usually under the table or somewhere they think I wont see it

Sounds about right. My cats hate getting wet...but so far it hasn't been much of a deterrent I will admit.

We have a pitbull mix too. Sweetest dog ever....although not much of a guard dog. He hides behind momma to growl and bark at strangers and the cats can kick his ass.

Kitty got a crinkly bag! This is a permanent one though, not a plastic bag that can hurt him or a brown bag. And the way it's made it does make a crinkling sound if you touch it or if he goes in it. He loves this thing and stands guard while in it, and will attack anything that comes near him! I put Porter on the bed (the Chihuahua) and he didn't even see the cat, until he got close, and kitty popped out and scared the shit out of him. All in good fun though, no claws. Nero likes to sneak around and follow Porter, then pounce on him and run about 200mph under the bed!

Ours is Pittbull...plus some other type of terrier more than likely. He likes to hold hands...will do it for hours. Not thinking that is going to scare away many burgler's though.
