Default Andrew Luck - Russell Wilson - Cam Newton first 3 years in context

I did some research on ESPN - just LOOK at the amazing Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior years or Russell and Andrew and Cam compared to certain future Hall of Famers.

“… the greatest detractor from high performance is fear: fear that you are not prepared, fear that you are in over your head, fear that you are not worthy, and ultimately, fear of failure. If you can eliminate that fear—not through arrogance or just wishing difficulties away, but through hard work and preparation—you will put yourself in an incredibly powerful position to take on the challenges you face" - Pete Carroll.

    Ben this year:

    103.3 QB Rating
    67.1 completion %
    4,952 yards
    32 TD's and 9 INT

    Career:

    93.9 QB Rating
    63.7 completion %
    39,057 yards
    251 TD's and 131 INT

This was his 11th year too!

BUT, he's done for this year, so it's all meaningless!

Lets extrapolate what wilson's 11th season may be like, if he changes to the degree of ben's.

    Russell Wilson's 2025 Season:

    Projected Rating: 105.xx
    TD: 39
    INT: 8
    Completion: 64%
    Yards: 5143 yards

Projected stats, career, after 11th season:

    Passer rating: 98.6
    TD: 264
    INT: 95
    Completion: 64%
    Yards 36,483
    SB Trophies:
And that is if Russell NEVER improves, but continues to average his current level of play.

As Joe Buck says...Russell Wilson is LETHAL on the move AND when he decides to throw it.

    Russell Wilson's Playoff performance:
    NFC Championship 2013
    16/25, 215yards, 64.0% 1TD, 0INT, Ratng: 104.6

    Superbowl 2013
    18/25, 206yards,, 72.0%, 2TD, 0INT, Rating: 123.1 (Third best rating since 1995 [S.Young/J.Flacco])

Russell is the NFL Career Playoffs Passer Rating Leader (although with only 6 games played; has time to have worse games)

    Ben Roethlisberger
    AFC Championship 2005
    21/29, 275yards, 72.4%, 2TD, 0INT, Rating: 124.9

    Superbowl 2005
9/21, 123yards, 42.9%, 0TD, 2 INT, Rating:22.6 (Worst rating in Superbowl history, win OR loss. Next lowest-rating Winner: J.Elway, SB 32 vs Packers)

    Love you, Jim.
