    Default Wolves Changed Rivers

Micheal Criton mentioned this in his book "State of Fear".
How humans tried to "conserve" Yellowstone park by killing all the wolves 70 years ago but they found that that caused a downward cascade in the whole area. the dear increased, the beaver decreased and the whole landscape deteriorated.

Here a short piece on what happened when wolves were reintroduced into the park.

The wolves were sacred animals to my grandfather's people.
Finally man in his arrogance has found out why, why they exist and how they affect mankind and Nature!
When this my ancestors knew many thousands of years ago....
I suspect that mankind has lost as much knowledge as he has recently learned about this Nature, this world and its purpose/function.--Tyr
