`Assuming`..... “Crazy Uncle Joe” has checked himself into the Betty Ford Center as a patient to either dry himself out or to get clean and sober, he might also want them to check him for dementia, and also check to make sure his aneurism isn’t leaking again. If he’s not suffering from dementia, and if there are no problems with the aneurism, then the guy is either incredibly stupid or a hopeless chemical dependent. Either way, he’s not someone we’d want in the Oval Office when a crisis occurs. Someone who’s drunk or high, or demented is not likely to make the right decisions in times of crisis.`

`According to the famous blogger Sodahead and other sources, VP Joe Biden entered the Betty Ford Center. The visit was apparently unscheduled. I don’t know if the story has been completely substantiated, as some are calling it satire. But if true, it would explain a lot of Biden’s behavior. The larger point is that the VP has come under criticism for creepy behavior as well as for a constant stream of gaffes, though his loyal supporters explain his behavior as “just being Joe.” Frankly, I don’t understand why some of the women he attempted to fondle didn’t do something to get away from his unwelcome attentions. `
