I thought about buying two of them with consecutive serial numbers, but then changed my mind.

That was a big mistake as those guns new unfired would only continue to rise in value.
I would have ran to the bank to get money to buy at least 6 of them had I been lucky enough to have been there then-- that is, if the guy did not have them outrageously priced.
