The Rape Of Richard Beck
About a Detective who is following a couple of male suspects, and they lead him to an out of the way location where they ambush him and then rape him at gunpoint. The DumShit then goes back and reports it to the precinct, where they have no sympathy for him. Even his father, who is ex-cop, thinks he should have committed suicide.

The Seven-Ups was an excellent cops'nrobbers movie. I especially liked the car chase...
@indago...remember seeing this one?...could not find the full movie...but here is a few scenes along with a song..."The Car 1977"
Being British, I suppose it isn't too surprising that I'd choose something British ...
THE PRISONER.
17 episodes (made in the 1960's) - mostly about a British secret agent .. never actually named .. who's captured by, supposedly, 'a foreign power' (you never learn who) .. and imprisoned in 'The Village', a high-tech prison modeled on a complete village community, but ruled by the most ruthless surveillance-society control possible. Left-wing crushing control exercised, in which all citizens are reduced to 'numbers', units of Society, free will crushed by nameless masters.
The Prisoner retains his individuality, and prevails against all attempts to control or to reduce his spirit ... various 'Number 2's' in successive episodes try their hand in finding ways to exert new methods of control, or to win out against him.
My favourite sayings from the series ... 'Questions are a burden to others, and answers a prison for oneself' .. 'I am not a number, I am a free man !'
I know it was shown in the US, so I've included it here. Maybe it's known to some of you ? Two clips from two episodes here ... the first is the opening sequence of Ep#2. [Jim Caviezel played the Prisoner in an American series remake.]
