Youth Had Gone, Life Torn Asunder
Youth had gone, life torn asunder
time blasted, by resounding thunder
yes the shadows wailed, skies moaned
laughter hard frozen, evil toned
No siren screamed, no lion roared,
mystery boat sank with all aboard
pothole canyons, nothing phased
held only soul wickedly crazed.
Fate, thy hands empty and bare
hell's early bus, I had my fare
but traffic jammed on the way
echoes sounded, as ghosts pray
Lightning crashed, hope appeared
a reprieve just as I feared
cry went out, hold thy true vow
walk into life, and do it now.
Youth had gone, life torn asunder
time blasted, by resounding thunder
Cry went out, hold thy true vow
walk into life, and do it now.

old note: This kinda suxs..
no parade, no band --just a long dead silence...
New note--12-17-2019
Well nobody said it was going to be a damn picnic boy......
the old man looked at the sea and tears fell
life had not been kind, had brought its hell
yet as dawn's lights that distant horizon lit
he said, Yes Lord, give me longer, just a little bit.
