It damn sure hurt a lot, left its deep scarring mark
But I knew where sweet love was, right where we threw it
And my love, my love we both went blind and blew it
Hell, it was not our time to up and say screw it
So let us meet later tonight and redo it….

I reached for a handful of earth to hold tight
For our love went awry, something was just not right
And in that basket of sad and destructive dark
It damn sure hurt a lot, left its deep scarring mark…

We flew into that storm but we did not choose it
It was paradise why the hell did we lose it
It was our sweet gentle ocean to slow cruise it
There was love and romance, why did we abuse it?
Now our sorrows weep deeply and both hearts sad ache
And this terrible darkness we just cannot shake
Loss we are, for life truly has no damn meaning
Harvest burnt up, ashes are its pallid gleanings.

For our love went awry, something was just not right

I like it my friend. Some mighty keen insight you have!
Paradise Lost is by many considered to be Milton's greatest work.....-Tyr

    Far Above Moon's Ancient Shadow
    (A Sad Tale of Woe)

Pain, crying pains that ripped glass,
    and black clouds waving goodbyes.
Aye, I remember you sweet lass
and that twinkle in your eyes.

    Far above moon's ancient shadow
among sad gleams from lost stars.
Frigid cold, filled a soul so shallow
aye lass, your leaving left scars.

Hurt, hurt resting in deepest pits
    memories dance out of tune.
Ancient moon, sending me new hits
each year on last day of June!

    Far above moon's ancient shadow
among sad gleams from lost stars.
Frigid cold, filled a soul now shallow
aye lass, your leaving left scars.

Time, time utterly fails its course
nights break bones in a flurry.
Ah, but they shoot a dying horse
now, fate's hand does not hurry!

    Far above moon's ancient shadow
among sad gleams from lost stars.
Frigid cold, filled a soul now shallow
aye lass, your leaving left scars.

Within Those Dreams, Memories, An Angel Yet Again Sought

There was such kindness in her magnificent blue eyes
An elegant gait to her very sexy walk
Beauty one expects to see only when one dies
Her singing, intelligence whenever she talks
Made me feel awe of enjoying brighter blue skies!

Promise of treasures, that which a king would desire
Wishing a kiss, another touch of warm embrace
Sensation of joy sitting around that campfire
Memories of that beautiful, beautiful face
Nothing ever compares to that night's desires!

There was such kindness in her magnificent blue eyes.
Made me feel awe of enjoying brighter blue skies!
