Naked, Joined And Not Afraid

Last night, nothing lay between her heart and mine
Naked and firmly locked into each other's arms
Great was the heat, passion tasted a sweet red wine
I happily wrapped into the moment and her charms;
A sinner, partaking in the sweet fleshly delight
Bodies touching , our souls kissing in the mists
Such great treasure found now, each and every night
Spirit yielding to the Love and acts she insists!

Strong were the expectations of the night's embrace
Sweet the touch and taste of our mutual trance
I the driver of memories time shall never erase
She the queen that promised me forever to dance!

Last night, nothing lay between her heart and mine!

A Shadow Emerges

As light was shining bright
a shadow crossed the scene
A curse in the day and night
bile spilled from the spleen;
Sickness invades a absent mind
doubts attack with no reprieve
Thoughts invade,darkest kind,
Hell acts daily we must believe

Shadow has now taken its form
light's splendor it now deforms!

Sea Tumbling With Contentment


Beyond the time of complaining
in the fogs of future regrets
Dreaming of short days remaining
and great loves not known yet

Crossing the land of wonderment
could one so in love find
The comfort of soul's placement
or ease of a rested mind

Yet deeper in that enchantment
What is greater than Love
A sea tumbling with contentment
blessing sent from above

My poem was featured at my poetry site last week and I never even knew about . I've been busy with personal business and the death of my mother-in-law in the Philippines during that time.

Majesty Of The Bird Of Prey

Majesty Of The Bird Of Prey
(Eyes of the Hawk)

In wilderness flies the bird of prey
above the earthly fight and battle
Far from immense foaming ocean spray
far above pastures and fat cattle
Gliding along spying for its meal
with those sharp all seeing eyes
Blessed with sharp claws of steel
marauder of the gentle blue skies
Soaring in wait for its coming kill
be it furry animal,fowl or fish
Nature blesses with awe, good or ill
such meaty meals,what a tasty dish

To its victims what a monster it may be
A wonder to we that can much further see.

Note: The splendor and beauty of Nature awes us but there is the savage
side to be seen too. And that savage side teaches us that sacrifices to
survive require the ending of life of others.
Nowhere is that better seen or understood than in the actions of the
earth's predators. Those that fly interest me more, for as young boy
I dreamed of flying thousands of times.

I Shall Not Embrace Your Cold Heart


I shall not embrace your cold heart
Nor look into those vicious eyes
Love exists not on a scientific chart
But in passion and heart's ties

I shall not eat of the jaded fruit
Offering you set at my place
Nor fall for your so sexy and cute
Smile upon such a pretty face

I shall not lie upon the bed you offer
Nor drink from the cup you stain
O' yes, I am now your biggest scoffer
Love broken was my greatest pain

I shall not embrace your cold heart

Night Terror May Come And May Go


Night visitor no man may ever see
flees the sunny light of day
Late night comes it to visit thee
demanding oaths you must obey
Life knowing such strange things
a torment that eats our souls
Screams blasting forth it rings
burns the mind like coals
Phantom of the dark, evil night
black shadow in light is cast
Apparition sent for deep fright
dire warning meant to last
Songs of dying in deepest agony
scourges of the torture rack
Evil loves this happy symphony
dread promise to come back
Racing away before light of day
come curses of foul and rot
Demons so often do this to play
and still the heart you got

A Look Back


Fleeting the moments of laughter and joy,
Love promises so much more:
There is no finality in the life garnered
Once we see the dread of its end.

So short were the days in the sun:
Where shining dawns offered deep hope
All we once were has now been done
We live and loved in a misty dream.

An Imagined Airy Paradise


Birds fly in the bright scarlet sky,
floating often on spreading wings.
Saddened earth below they happily defy,
on shining clouds gladly resting!

An image burns in an imaginative mind,
earth below seen so many other ways.
Such dreams inspire and serve to remind
heart's joy, love our life conveys!

What of this imagined airy paradise,
scenes that thrill so our hearts
That pleasure in dreams may suffice
despite time lost in waste carts!

Tyr, you never fail to impress me with your writing. It is all quite inspired.

Reading some of your passages reminded me of something my daughter wrote at the beginning of the last school year. Her literature teacher wanted everyone to submit something to a journal that was being put together of student works. The compositions went direct to the publisher. As opposed to being approved by a teacher first.
A few weeks later, the literature teacher got a response from the journal people that she shared with me. The person who read my daughter's submission stated "the student who submitted this work is deeply disturbed and needs guidance and counseling."


I am not afraid
I am not afraid of your hatred
Not afraid of your lies
Your smiles do not mask your hate
Your teeth are white but your soul is black
You can not fool me
You can not deceive the world
You talk generosity but your hand is in my pocket
You talk morality but your hand is up my skirt
You talk intelligence but you do not pass the test
You talk peace but there is blood on your clothes
How can I love my country when you keep destroying it?
Your smoke fouls my air
Your guns kill my animals
Your oil clogs my beaches
Your money buys my leaders
Go ahead and laugh, it suits you well
It's your world, you bought it
Not for long, though
Time will pass soon enough
Eventually I will be in charge
And you will be gone

I've NO words to tell you the whole depth of my Thanks.
May be it can be a slight contribution to you, but my Grandchildren asked me to thank you on their behalf.
They start understanding your poetry and they BOTH like it, though they have to make a lot of efforts to understand and FEEL what you want (and you really have what to say) to tell in a language, foreign for them.

That poem was written by a person with expressive talent. I would say your daughter could easily if she chooses become a writer. -Tyr
