Dear Woman

Why do you ignore me
why do you punish me, mistreat me
one day your my bride, the next you set me aside
I often wonder if you'd care if I died

So I look for answers, in all the wrong places
sometimes I find what I want, but not what I need
I can't tell what you're feeling or thinking
these are the things that make the heart bleed

but you seem to think its nothing
just write it off like a bad debt
for I think it's worth fighting for
and you seem to want to forget

Why can't you commit

I think you’ve lost your wit

You advance and then retreat

You feel compelled to cheat



When cornered you throw a fit

Ya got no more grit

I do not understand you

You just can’t be true



You push getting married

Then you act all harried

It was your idea all along

It's kind of an "ode to my ex" thing....who I am still friends with. He knows what he did....lol.

That's generally what propels me to write, when I'm sad, or very angry about something. But I'm no poet, generally a rambler, but sometimes the rambling can make sense and even rhyme.

Vicodin? No one would recognize the poems from me, likely every line would be a different subject. Of course the mood would be lighter, but on 99 subjects. LOL
