    Default 18 More Months!

Ah yeah, this pretty well sums it up:

THE WORLD SMELLS WEAKNESS: A confluence of events this week emphasizes that the world–especially its worst characters–smells the pungent aroma of American weakness thanks to President Obama’s purposeful, “leading from behind” philosophy of non-leadership:

Iran is brazenly trying a Washington Post reporter, Jason Rezaian for espionage, ignoring State Department entreaties to release him. It also has ongoing ties to North Korea, which is providing nuclear weaponry expertise, even as Iran claims to be negotiating the the Obama Administration to halt development of its nuclear weapon program.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is forced to pitch his country’s concerns about the Iran nuclear deal directly to Congress, and our President won’t even meet with him.

President Obama will meet with Arab Gulf leaders, however, in an attempt to pitch them on his Iranian deal. But the leaders of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain snub the President and don’t attend. Saudi Arabia sends its own troops in to fight ISIS in Syria.

China is building up strategically located islands in the South China Sea–including construction of a military airstrip–destabilizing the area and warning the U.S. not to fly or sail near them. After Secretary of Defense Ash Carter responded tepidly, a Chinese Colonel said Mr. Carter “wasn’t as tough as I expected.”

To counter Putin’s overt aggression in Crimea, Lithuania and Poland tell Congress they want U.S. military bases to protect them.

Secretary of Defense Ash Carter admitted that the US-trained Iraqi military forces have “no will to fight” ISIL–the official excuse for why Ramadi and other major cities in the region are falling. But then again, the Administration doesn’t exhibit a will to fight ISIL either.

The Obama Administration’s support of the Muslim Brotherhood and ISIS-supporting Syrian rebels have been disasters.

The question is: What will 18 more months of an Obama Administration mean for U.S. national security?

Such a strange aggression when there were no shots, no victims, no destructions. Then the Parliament of Crimea republic organizing referendum after State armed coup occurred in Kiev and illegitimate junta seized power in Ukraine. By the results of this referendum Russia agreed to REUNION Crimea.
Sure, everything was done in a wrong way. The proper way would have been if Russia ruined half of Kiev, TV and radio centers, almost all the bridges and power stations by our cruising missiles and bombing. Besides partly destroyed an American Embassy and killed a pair of it's employees. Then everything would have been done in traditional 'democratic manner'.
How do you find this picture? I believe that you understand what I am speaking about. Or you don't?

Ash Carter needs to bite me. The US Military hasn't the will to fight? You mean the US Military hasn't the will to half-ass at it the way this administration has gone about everything it does except for meddling in States' affairs.

    Such as: http://hotair.com/archives/2015/06/0...mvees-to-isis/

We already knew that Iraq’s army was something of a disappointment (to put it kindly) in terms of standing up for themselves, but it seems that they may have been even more careless with the gear we gave them than was previously being reported. Vice News reveals that the Iraqi military has been given enough heavily armored Humvees to fill up the parking lots at Disneyland, but now a daunting number of them may be tooling around the desert with ISIS fighters at the wheel.

Islamic State (IS) militants may have captured as many as 2,300 US-provided armored Humvees from Iraqi armed forces when they seized Mosul in 2014, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi admitted on Sunday.
“In the collapse of Mosul, we lost a lot of weapons… We lost 2,300 Humvees in Mosul alone,” Abadi said in an interview broadcast by state run Al Iraqiya television, according to remarks carried by AFP.

IS overran Mosul, Iraq’s second city, in June 2014, routing a far larger force of 30,000 Iraqi soldiers who retreated in disarray, stripping out of their uniforms and abandoning their equipment as they fled.

This is perhaps even worse than it sounds. Reports have already come out that one of our Hummers was used in a suicide attack last month and the Kurds are seeing more and more of them flying black flags. The price tag is pretty high also. The Vice News report indicates that our last shipment of 1,000 Humvees for the Iraqis cost almost $600M. That puts the price tag for the recently abandoned rigs at well over a billion.

The units are not just armored, but equipped with machine guns. Assuming that the Iraqis left behind their ammunition stores when they stripped off their uniforms and ran for the hills, that means that the terrorist fighters are sitting on some deadly equipment which will give them a huge advantage over ground forces. (And that’s a particularly true statement if the ground forces in question tend to flee after the first shots are fired anyway.)

It's early and I haven't had coffee yet. And this whole thing called "light" is overrated.

Hopefully the world will hold on for another 18 months.

The problem is there are many events that have potential to rapidly spin out of control and we could end up with a major worldwide conflict.

Putin's land grabs and China's island-grabbing (with gigantic swaths of ocean claimed) and even the assclowns of ISIS toppling more Middle East countries all have real danger.

Fortunately fracking has given us oil independence (if needed) from the Middle East, so that mitigates ISIS' impact on the USA in that arena - but that still can wreak havoc on international economies. IMO, it's insane that we aren't completely self sufficient right now, but the greenies are all about stopping progress at any price.

The timing is horrible to have such an incompetent President and administration, but at least we can thank our lucky stars he wasn't in the saddle on 9/11/01.

And maybe the younger generations have learned what happens when you put a liberal in office. The last election sure seemed like everyone woke up.

Ah yeah, this pretty well sums it up:
What will it mean? It means that we're pretty much screwed, would be my best guess. But then, my ability to think positively has gone downhill for the past six years, and hasn't been seen since Bitch McConnell and Weepy Boehner rushed Cromnibus thru before the newly elected majority could even be sworn in, effectively funding everything Obama wanted and even more effectively sending a big "Eff Yew" to everyone that voted for the Republicans in 2014....

thus making the sentiment "the GOP is dead to me now" prevalent throughout the nation.

They effectively surrendered to America's enemy within, IOW.

Default Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what is happening.

The U.S. Senate is pretending to replace the Patriot Act. Our Intelligence, and Security agencies have been pushed back into pre-911 stances. Our wannabe president has worked hard to play political games called CUT & RUN from Iraq, and Afghanistan. Obama has worked with the remaining YES MEN in the Pentagon who placed their military career's ahead of defending the nation...meanwhile, the Military has been slowly destroyed by the Political Correctness of No Moral Compass where all Religious thought in uniform has become punishable. And, in the same few months, and years. Obama has declared war on Nationwide Police Forces, ICE, and Border Patrol...instructing them to IGNORE LAWS....just as Obama, and the Phony Justice Department bend over backward for the Muslim Brotherhood.

In a nutshell. "YOU BETTER BELIEVE....WE ARE ALL SCREWED!"
I love to make Liberals Cry, and Whine.
    So, this is for them.
GOD BLESS AMERICA - IN GOD WE TRUST !
