Poetic Words Given To Today's Youth

If each bite of this world is so bitter tasted
Youthful years have flow on by, most of them wasted
And your deepest dreams that fruited, are now dying
You will find, to little avails your sad crying.

If breaking heartache has become your bosom friend
Life drags on, its merciless curses never end
And in dead of dark nights, dread eats into your soul
Look back at your trashed hours and your lone empty bowl.

If you beg for more years to waste as a blind fool
Each day, you prove you are a worthless sorry tool
And you know you have hurt many in your heyday
You will have only one course, bow your head and pray.

These words they may appear too hard and maybe trite.
Yet the blind may only see if they regain sight.
