    Chosen Quote:
"Delicious tears! The heart's own dew."
    Letitia Elizabeth Landon.

    Beautiful Sadness

As morn births bold new welcoming relief
in dawn's deepest gasping of wonderment
Life thrives upon true love, not morbid grief
for beauty's depths are purest contentment.

Whether tears are falling from joy or pains
heart and soul together, sweet as morn's dew
    with happiness Life's serenity gains
magnificent fruits of treasure come due!

True and so delicious such worthy meals
rewarding our fortitude, hopes and dreams
within such bliss sweetest pleasure we feel
flows forth as clearest waters in cool streams!

When mortal heart, true master will obey
Faithfulness is born, that will never stray!

Romanticism, (Rhyme, ( Alas! Horror Of A Love, Youthful Folly Destroyed )
Thus this first poem and another were born that day-from those four inspired verses. Thank you Nina for giving me permission to cite your blog and my first stanza verses it inspired that day, as the inspired source!
Written for the Alexander Pushkin tribute but was lost to me until reminded. I then searched and found it today.God bless...

Thank I, That Purity Of Heart's Deepest Romantic Trills
(Inspired by verses that came to me, inspired by Nina's blog)

Her soliciting eyes, gift promises of hot flaming Love.
As ruby red, sensual lips offer honey from above
She golden, romantic goddess born of heavenly skies
Presents beauty, fantastic ardor that we mortals so prize!

Within passion's might and its majestic resplendent glows.
Cries sweet birth of truest poetry's beauty, that Love shows.

Thank I, that purity of heart's deepest romantic trills
Echoes vibrations that seek to stir our Love that over-spills
Into longings, honey dreams set on tables of bright fruits
As richest feasts, that our mortal desires so deeply suits!

Within passion's might and its majestic resplendent glows.
Cries sweet birth of truest poetry's beauty, that Love shows.

Relive I, songs in night trysts that her kisses did inspire
Delirious and eager burns of her sexual fires
Where we woke to dawn's brilliant and enchanting golden rays
And with united hearts, bowed our grateful heads to pray!

Within passion's might and its majestic resplendent glows.
Cries sweet birth of truest poetry's beauty, that Love shows.

Years have so swiftly flown by, now poetic heart recalls
Yesterdays of Love, its treasures in its great golden halls
Such grandeur, truest of grace in her passionate embrace
Brought eternal longings such as no power can erase!

Within passion's might and its majestic resplendent glows.
Cries sweet birth of truest poetry's beauty, that Love shows.

Words Carried By Art-winds That Poetry Blows

When in a dying poet's last born gasp,
brilliant new verse his sad soul thus sings.
In its truth, those rewarded may this grasp
beauty is its renewed birth, each Spring.

From gentle spirit, happiness is born.
From this savage world, poet's heart is torn.

Death rides a black horse called Fated Time
its galloping hooves, covered in blood red.
Against all of mankind's dark, barbaric crimes
its race victorious when each is dead!

From gentle spirit, happiness is born.
From this savage world, poet's heart is torn.

Words carried by art-winds that poetry blows
    through whispering canyons of paradise.
Their weights beyond what infinity knows
and in hope that life's and love may suffice!

From gentle spirit, happiness is born.
From this savage world, poet's heart is torn.

She That Time And Fate Can Never Erase

BEHOLD- she that a torn heart can repair,
a Venus that bright stars envy and praise
she that reflects morn's firstborn golden rays
    sumptuous love, beyond mortal compare!

Soft as silk glistening as fallen dew
blithe spirit, born of Aphrodite's gifts
she of dreams, radiant hope sent so swift
treasured kisses that sets my world anew!

State of resplendent royal purple glow
    siren serenading sweetest of songs
awarding respite from world's teeming throngs
sweet as honey, pure as fresh fallen snow!

"O, but for that end true love reunites,
may destiny's arrows fly swift and right!

Darling, my beloved- of beauty's grace
She that Time and Fate can never erase!

Sonnet, plus two( Lind-Sonnet And Two )
( Born of a summer of love in 1973 )
Yet now, thrives as a dream that was
once lived and now tis' deeply treasured!

Dedicated to the inspiration that Byron
and his magnificent poetry has gifted
to this too oft dark and sad world....

In Silent Hours, When Hope May Truly Touch

In that Silent hour, reflecting on life
Its bitter and sour, constant daily strife
That slow aching darkness of midnight black
Woes of destiny that throws us off track
Cast into swollen streams surging along
Weeping melody from life's sadder songs,
A stab, a cut against the growing pain
Loss, where we say never, never again!

In Silent hours, pondering sweeter gifts
Of Love, Friendship, Dawn's Glow that so uplifts
Dare we this thought thus gratefully embrace
We are all brothers, in this human race.

In Silent hours, when Hope may truly touch
Faith joins Love's power, when Life seems too much!

This was awarded second place in the contest.
I am sorry that I most often do not remember to come back and list the placements my poem get in contests.
I just get far too busy with new poems and my other writings.
I very likely have about 40 or more poems with first place awarded that I have not came back to list here.--Tyr

Sonnet Triples, Poet And Time's Thoughtful Musings

    (1.)
The Sonnet And The Poetic Query

Playing on the crescent hill, moonglow dances,
    And dying mouse took its usual chances;
And wise owl sleeps off the night's happy meal
Life shines with its usual little thrills.
Eternal watchman, winds the chiming clock
Sleep fled -comes every aching tick-tock
As ocean waves eat up low sandy shores
A sad love-sick mermaid, Neptune implores.
On and on goes the rabid churning world
Its mysteries wrapped in hidden curls
Ah but, tis often the glory one seeks
That fails to give but spit and false-set peeks!

Dare high heavens to this old parade change?
Can mortal flesh ever reach such a range?

She Of Rarest Beauty, Truest Essence Of Love

She walks in the garden where dead roses once grew
That Aphrodite beauty this poor soul once knew
She of precious life, honey -sweet raven hair
O' pray I to loving god - to again be there !

For under gold radiance of coming bright moon
We shall both dance into that deep romantic swoon
In sensual delights, locked in dear loving arms
We both enjoying blessings of passionate charms!

Yes, she is the one that my daydreams have foretold
Soaking in her beauty, on her truth, I am sold
As morn sounds yet more soft whispers of faithful love
Sun shines its blessings, golden rays cast from above!

She walks in the garden where dead roses once grew.
An Aphrodite beauty this poor soul once knew!

Aching And Breaking Into Tender Bone

As Fate points its crooked little finger,
In this true-heart your beauty yet lingers
Aching and breaking into tender bone
A frozen copy of the hardest stone
Are the blues of the darken death singer.

While life dares the old rainbow to vanish
I pray now my dreams can your love banish
Was it not romantic truth you slayed
As with your vanity you love played
Fled to Mexico to love in Spanish.

No more illusion, your magic died
Same night this soul mercilessly cried
A broken victim, saw your wicked lies
And unabashedly let out roaring cries!

Gift Given Man, An Invisible Treasure

    From above, beyond heavenly skies
Hurdling into earthen realm in measure
Yes, earth's deep morbid darkness it defies
Gift given man, an invisible treasure
Those that its purpose cannot ever see
Sadly are to its dear purpose stone-blind
Help was needed, so true mortal are we
So lost in blackness, hope we could not find.

Amidst deep turmoil of our raging seas
Selflove, inflicted pains of hopeless greed
    Humanity's volume of tearful pleas
Crying out for true depths of mortal need

Fate's blows, born from lies sent from dark abyss.
    Cannot survive, mankind's embracing this.

Beyond The Horizon, Dwelling In Sunset's Red

Beyond the horizon, dwelling in sunset's red
all is right - no compromising, silk sheets, soft bed
Cool streams leading to good, world exists with no stains
love wins just as it should, nights holding no dark pains.

Beyond the horizon, hell's wrath can not invade
new morn's rising, magnificent life hope has made
Days spent in wonder, sworn to promises of more
ships sailing on seas of splendor, from shore to shore.

Paradise there seeing, Nature's hidden palace
glory in being, free of man's dark and malice
Earth's sweet pleasures, love over-filled beyond measure
time spent in leisure, where true love is the treasure.

Red skyline's glow, looms castles of eternity.
Wrapped in love's, sincerest hope and serenity.
