Granted Power, Black Hearts Lie And Steal For Gain

He in darkness walked unholy miles,
with false steps clinging to his golden shoes.
Not without his great wit and clever wiles
plied he evil schemes as his wealth accrues.

The people's man, so his admirers said,
politician that felt their epic pains.
If they knew, sins in his black-heart and head
they would see clearly, evil that so stains.

Given power, he stole from weak and poor
corruption came to him as mother's milk.
With greed and lust he pined for so much more
as is the way of devils and such ilk.

Corruption and politics were his game.
Blind followers gave him both wealth and fame.

Note- Sound condemnation of those greedy, corrupt souls that in so-called serving we the people, actually only serve themselves.
Guilt lies with such scheming devils regardless of Party and self-made glowing yet false images...-Tyr

Dark Oblivion Once Entered Makes No Sound

His soul walked streets of oblivion,
    banshee wailing for merciful reprieve.
On broken altars, deep cracked pavilions,
pain laden, refused to properly grieve.

Years long past his bright stars had all fallen,
his love had somehow just melted away.
Some long nights he heard her lost love calling
and only then would he, for his death pray!

Down graveyard street was his home awaiting
lone, fallen tombstone his most cherished guest.
Midnight talks, he and they start debating
which night he should force his eternal rest!

Now silent tombstone rests on fresh turned ground.
Oblivion once entered makes no sound.

As We Slumbered, Cat Laying On Our Feet

As we slumbered, cat laying on our feet
in sweet dreams my angel, again we meet
We walked meadows heavenly and fair
you with dancing breeze blowing your dark hair.
Down into scenic valley far below
we flew, racing toward new fallen snow
You laughing loud at my lagging behind
knowing, depth of our true love we will find.
Walking bright forest in soft, snowy white
our future set, our lives so very bright,
We kiss one last time before we both wake
vowing our true love, never to forsake.
With lips last touch we bid sweet adieu
wake to sail this world, together we two.

    Beg Again Morn's Softest Release

Crashing words, haunt my woeful head
    raining down, in splattering display.
I beg for, morn's sweet silence instead
but find tattered echoes this day.

Flooding thoughts, soak my heart and soul
purple colors racing in my veins.
I fear worse, emptiness its great toll
dead silence and its deeper pains.

    Beg, again morn's softest release
    whispers delivered in rhythmic hues.
I rise, cooking our fresh eggs in grease
    ponder deeply my other dues.

Morn's favor, dawn's first new light each day
Rise with me, our love is here to stay.

When Found, Persistence Is The Only Key

He beat on the massive stone wall in vain
scratched until his fingers on both hands bled
Let grief and it all out, did not restrain
in deepest sorrows even tears were shed.

Their dark prison held his soul firmly chained
they that smiled with clever betraying acts
Yet, in his kind heart honor he maintained
fighting great darkness with well proven facts.

Yet stone holds strong in its greatest powers
with blackest magic from deep melted earth
Above lords laugh in ivory towers
gods of vanity and wine drunken mirth.

Arrogance, greed and sick lusts birth blight
Stone will crack, be it some day or some night.

Could Her Gaze Find You, Lost In That Abyss

If all life trudged forth, uphill and alone,
every leaf fell, hit you hard as a stone.
Could joy and love ever heal such sad pain
when all was lost and nothing was to gain?

If hours were months of solitude and aches
life delighted in misery it makes.
Could happiness and love ever be found
music ever be but sorrowful sound?

If every nightmare brought more and stabbed deep
eyes shut, even then you tried not to sleep.
Could her gaze find you, lost in that abyss
or that great promise live, of her first kiss?

If you had no hope and all was dark night
would against dark Fate you rise up and fight?

Stand In Life Or Dream Upon Mountain Crest

Happiness in tune, could one ask for more,
Than heart bursting with peace, joyous spirit
And sweet love resting true, on golden shore
Echoes of morn's song, grateful to hear it.

Spring itself, can embrace your needed rest
With new and glowing life, color to feel.
Stand in life or dream upon mountain crest
    Nature offers beauty, truth surreal.

Soul is content, love remains truly strong
Each day, music fills the welcoming air.
Enjoy, no need to try to sing along
For blessings have come with life truly fair.

Life and love streams flow around many bends.
Love truly deep, for one day its path ends.

Should Your Misery Find Paradise Steps Broken

Should your misery find paradise steps broken
blank skies, courageous words no longer spoken.
Take greater heed to your own sad and long silence
what part it plays in our world's current violence.

Speak true, voice out loud and ink down with glowing pen
leave not your part to lost and indifferent men.
Walk new path, be not afraid to turn over stones
find Art, Life, History- perhaps get off your phones.

This day, with braver heart change from your current course
enter the fray, ride a faster and better horse.
Summon anew those dreams and future hopes long past
pave your road with solid stones to forever last.

When this dark, evil world depends on your silence.
Step forth, speak out, to end the widespread violence.

When Even The Lion King Meets His Fate

Soon as he mastered lion's mighty roar
Boldly through this dark, evil world he tread
    Never enough, forever seeking more
Never loved, always greatly feared instead.
Proud he stood but alone his heart did feel
It seemed black ravens were his only friends
His vanquished victims they would slowly peel
his friends yet they too would only pretend.
Decades flew by his greatest powers waned
He saw too, how he had seen others end
Now slow, crippled body, everything pained
Soon he knew true, Fate was never his friend.
Too old to flee, too weak to again roar
Laid there as buzzards through his body tore.

Yet There Be Great Peace And Quiet There

Yet there be great peace and quiet there
    just beyond meadows fair
World revolts, I long not to care
my solitude I do not share
As ill winds besiege a fallen spirit
Sweet calm, I feel near it
Afternoon doves speaking I hear it
there - tis nothing- do I fear it
    My oasis, my hidden abode
    relaxing, drop my heavy load
    Sorrow upon this weary road
selfish me, or so I am told

Welcoming Stars Parade In Soft Blue Eyes

Welcoming stars parade in soft blue eyes
festive beacons of heart's grace and desires
In principle, this world's dark she denies
destroying evil by her love's fires.

Her light sheen radiates galactic hues
immense in their depth of sweet paradise
Yet Time and Fate will demand their great dues
where death will always be the sacrifice.

How this old soul dreads such a tragic day
pray its own demise before her time ends
She and our love anything I would pay
for within deepest love, we are fast friends.

I wait, Fate's decree, its deciding choice
With sincere words, write to give lasting voice.

Sunset, Winds Blew Across Ghastly Scene
    (Sad Sonnet In Nine)

He walked rocky path to cliff's edge
muttering, I did no break my pledge.
From high ledge, seeing her face below
he jumped proving his love not a show.

In tears, she ran to his crumbled heap
had he just been walking in his sleep?
Her heart, spirit and mind now rebelled
from her lack of trust, their romance failed.

She walked rocky path to cliff's edge
muttering, I did no break my pledge.
From high ledge, seeing his face below
she jumped proving her love not a show.

Sunset, winds blew across ghastly scene.
Nature covered all with its bright green.

Love Is Deep Virgin Soil Filled With New Grains

Decades flown, forced romance in dreams to wane
Was such outgrown, with no need to complain?
Has spirit's frailty led to heart's defeat
Gnawing barest of bones with no sweet meat?

Alas! Signals failure in heart and mind
Ears gone deaf and eyes obviously blind!
Has life and joy been foolishly replaced
With hope and true love forever erased?

Heaven forbid! Such dire dark knavery
    loss embraced denial of bravery!
Redeem thyself with spirit born anew
remembering sweetest love shared by two!

Love is deep virgin soil filled with new grains.
With thy dream waters, love's seeds with new rains.

Carry Steel In Your Heart Of Hearts

When good and Light shines too bright
darkness forms to punish in a fight.
Trees are toppled and sweet earth torn
rage destroys from dark envy born.

Hold castle safe and stand defiant
yield not, on courage be reliant.
When storm roars from angry skies
walk as straight, as the crow flies.

Let your weapon be truth held tight,
deeds be based upon what is right
Carry steel in your heart of hearts
seek love of wisdom, all it imparts.

Love that darkness seeks to burn away
let Heart and Soul embrace to stay.

Once In A Heated Moment I Recall

Once in a heated moment I recall
    Crying out in red-hot anger,
" Damn you, I hate you with my all
And shall now consider you a stranger."

O' how I recall her words in return
She screaming back with true regret,
" Damn you, now both bridges you burn
I am a gal that will not forget."

Many decades have flown forth and away
time healed and hurt was diminished.
O' how I regret that dark day,
my words, how sadly our romance finished.

Once, just once in a dark, horrific dream.
Love died, sincerest prayers can not redeem.

SIZE=5]Beauty That Rivals The Red Rose[/SIZE]

He the gardener she the rose
She was only flower he chose
Days he gave her his very best
Under moonlight glow they both rest.

With great care he keeps her from harm
    Always enamored by her charm
    Whenever she mentions her thirst
Sate her needs he is always first.

At dawn's first calling she wakes up
Her petals with his hands he cups
With true love, admiring her grace
This dark world together they face.

His life for her beauty so fair.
    Together, love's beauty they share.
