Default I MUST check this place out

This week's Lone Star Adventure is a unique opportunity: a chance to learn about and drive antique tractors and a 1911 Model T.We are headed north of Dallas, to McKinney and the Collin County Farm Museum.

One of my "bucket list" items. Driving a Model T is not a trivial matter.

Ford recommends starting off driving "retarded". See 3:37 in the below video.

Looks like a piece of crap to me, and to buy one probably costs about a million bucks!!

Go with the antique tractors, they look a lot more fun to drive.

Model Ts prices are not that bad. You can get a good serviceable one for about $12K to $14K. My wife cringes every time I show interest in one and says "Please don't". The only thing stopping me is that Model Ts are big time death traps.

    Here's one that sold for $8,500 .
