The young girl who has been reported as 14 is now being reported as 15, she says "I understand how he was feeling, everybody surrounding him," she said. He pulled a gun out when he felt threatened by a guy reaching behind to his waistband area, and immediately holstered his weapon. I already posted a timed version in this thread. The officer didn't pull his gun until the guy in the blue shirt and brown pants seemingly reaches behind his waistband, and then that guy runs. As soon as the officers points him out to another officer, who then goes in pursuit of that guy, the officer immediately holsters his gun. 6 seconds, as you pointed out, enough to ensure he wasn't about to have a gun pointed at himself.

And many times when someone resists, or has a blabber mouth, they will turn your head sideways and kind of kneel into your head, to keep you in place and prevent further resisting. Kneeling into her back was pretty much nothing. And if he was doing so, and someone crept up behind him and put one in his head? A police officer still needs to be aware of his surroundings. Only an idiot wouldn't take action if someone was reaching into his waistband about 3-5 feet from you.

Many went on about the age of Trayvon, and then there was the nitwit on FB proudly acting like a thug with his gun. Being underage doesn't mean everyone is law abiding citizens. Police still need to uphold the law.

And then in come the racists from around the nation, or course pushing race issues and claiming this was race related. 99 out of 100 of them want to play the blame game as if they were cops, and 99 out of 100 of them ignore the reason that 911 was called.
