Musings.
No that it matters but my liking to keep things straight I am posting my personal stats from my Poetry site.
Now here is how it goes IMHO, anybody can write poetry, however, how good that poetry is or is not is an
entirely different matter.
A very good poet and friend from my poetry site told me this.
"Robert , never doubt your talent, I have two books published with over a sixty poems published and you are a far better poet than I. I mean that sincerely. Remember this my friend, they steal your poetry because its very good and they realize that fact. You have poetry published but not yet a book of your own. My friend I suggest you consider correcting that error. Just keep on writing, let the stupid naysayers bellow all they want."
A couple months ago I had considered not writing any more and his private message to me turned me around.
In life , we ALL must face the naysayers and just say NAY right back to them..
Stubbornness , I lay great claim to, back by past evidence but greatness I make no claim to.
