No, it never seemed to make sense for me to buy it because it's on cable at some point literally every night. Of course, now I don't have cable, and I'd really love to have the show.
I thought All in the Family was very similar to Sanford and Son in that the main character was mean to be laughed AT, not WITH. Lamont was Sanford's Meathead, I think.On top of stupid, racist.

Sanford and Son was done by the same peoplpe as All in the Family, thats why they are so simular. You should get them, I think they are only like $19.99 a piece.
As fa as Redd Foxx's stand up comedy, hell yes I have almost every album on cd, he is great! One of my favorite comedians.
