What's the official DP Policy on morgue photos?

Instead of flipping the bird, you flash a morgue photo? Dude, that's just weird. Not even in the cage. I like to watch me some fucked up videos from times to time, and look through some strange photos. Sue me, I'm weird at times too! LOL But not here, this is a politically based site. One such photo sets off another.

And even more seriously, I have been contacted by the company of the one and only ad system used here, previously to remove certain content. They really aren't fond of using ads on pages that display crazy content.

How about just flip the bird?

I have seen the dead in all sorts of conditions. None look like what appears on TV. The majority of people in our society have never and will never see someone deceased unless in a coffin after the mortuary artists are through with them. People seem most interested in the famous or infamous. But there are plenty of places online to look for that so don't see any reason to have that here.

Agreed. I think one can make a point without graphic photos to support it.

But if you look real close, most Americans react to inflammatory images. Forget the facts.

tf this is just off the wall, if I didn't know better I would ask if you elevator makes it to the top floor, but hell I already know it doesn't, or you don't fire on all 8 , 2 quarts shy of a gallon you get the idea, this is just off the wall and kind of frigging creepy to boot, even for you.

Tell me, WHY is it so important you post pics of dead bodies? They're seared into my mind. Only people I've ever seen that want to do this are just into shock value. For those of us that have been there, save it.

When I was a kid one of the guys I hung out with Father owned a few funeral homes, man the stuff you see there is wild, I can remember the first time I was told to get something ( yes I worked for his Dad in the summer time ) out of the embalming room while they where actually embalming someone, hell it must of been a funny sight, I can remember walking in and keeping my head turned away from the body, scared to death, I am sure those folks laughed their butts off about that. But by the time the summer was over we use to play on the embalming table, I can remember laying on it ( drunk as a skunk ) and my buddy would pump it up as high as it would go and then hit the release to see how fast it would come down.

Then once out of HS, my buddies Dad gave him the apartment over one of the homes, you use to have to walk through the funeral home to get to his apartment, talk about creepy, all the lights out and a body laying in the viewing room. I remember one night we got the idea of taking the body out on the main road out front and make like we where beating the heck out of the guy and thought it would be funny as hell when the cops got there to find the guy already embalmed. No we never did it, we where strange and deviant bit we weren't animals.

I hear all the stories with Jay, and then I heard more with Tommy, who also lived in the apartment above the home!

The sad part though, is that after all of them stories, as we grow older, I've now seen these fellas at their respective homes they run, far far too often. Weird knowing you grew up with certain people, then you start seeing them year after year by going to funerals.

I just wanted you to understand why any such picture was deleted, and why posting such photos isn't good for the board, nor the ads no one likes.
