    Just the 2 minutes from the 14:20 to about 17:00 minute marks tells the story we don't hear clearly in the U.S..

    Russia is not fighting to eliminate Isis. They are fighting to defeat enemies of Syrian Bashar Al-Assad.
    If you wish to check, you will note that no Russian attacks have targeted Isis rebels. Isis freely admits this.
    Assad has flown to Moscow to thank Putin for his support.
