Yet another reason to stay out of that greasy arse place, but dam they do have good coffee, and they never say a word about me or anyone carrying at least here in GA. This is BS, they allow police to carry, I understand and agree the law is the law, but if they allow the police then one of our service men certainly ought to be allowed to carry as well.

If you live anywhere in the south you know Waffle House isn’t just a great place to get waffles at any hour of the day, it’s also a restaurant frequently at the center of wild and violent crimes.
Because of this they have a strict “no gun” policy.
Not everyone knows this, including a Navyman who tried to dine there a few nights ago.
After the fully uniformed military member sat down and ordered a waitress came up to him and told him he’d need to disarm himself or he couldn’t eat there.

The only "crime" I've ever seen at a Waffle House is the amount of grease in my food. I LOVE the place. And I don't recall EVER being in there not packing.

They don't have any in Texas for some reason. My family lived in FL forever though. Thing is, I don't go out and party anymore. That place was breakfast central after a night out back in the day.

When I moved from Bowling Green to Lexington, a Waffle House was the first meal I had. It was about 3 a.m. and it was delicious after not eating for 12+ hours.

I think it means you must live in the South because they are NOT everywhere. One could only WISH for THAT. When I want eggs, bacon and hashbrowns, smothered and covered, and endless coffee that place is Heaven. Only other place I know of that's almost as good is Jim's Frontier in Texas.

And I'm jealous of you BOTH so you can BOTH kiss off.
