Someone said i "overstated" how bad one side was.
Present company not included. but the the pro-vax side was FAR more horrifying, in and out of gov't..
But again you weren't in that portion of the group, so it does not apply to you. there's nothing to forgive.

But we'd be crazy to forget or minimize what happened from ONE side kath.

the "anti-vaxers" side:
Never told anyone they'd loose their jobs or ability to serve in the military if they didn't agree with us.
Never closed anyones business if they didn't agree with us.
Never fired a nurse in the middle of a "pandemic" if they didn't agree with us.
Never took away any doctors credentials or hospital privileges if they didn't agree with us.
Never fired university professors if they didn't agree with us.
Never fired anyone if they didn't agree with us.
Never force kids out of their college classes if they didn't agree with us.
Never forced anyone to where mask or take ivermectin as a price to enter a building or home or family gathering if they didn't agree with us.
Never closed a church if they didn't agree with us.
Never closed a public park or beach if they didn't agree with us.
Never blocked people from seeing their elderly & dying relatives if they didn't agree with us.
Never censored or blocked highly credentialed experts, doctors, researchers, virologist, public figures and organizations if they didn't agree with us.
Never ignored 100+ years of medical info on mask & natural immunity.
Never ignored the fact that "vaccines" should take 5-10 years to test.
Never ignored the fact that "vaccines" are not mRNA agents that alter dna & make your body produces spiked cells.
Never wanted to lock-down the country for more than 2 weeks.
never threatened to take people's children if they didn't agree with us.
Never wanted people to die if they didn't agree with us.
One "extreme" side was socially & legally oppressive and LIED OUTRIGHT REGULARLY and was completely unwilling to openly hear much less debate with qualified practitioners.

By any objective standard one side was FAR worse than the other.

Not arguing that, I am saying that the new normal is to demonize the enemy, no matter how much or how little there's any commonality. Indeed, there is NO consensus, consensus if for pussies. Both sides feel this way-at least the extremists of each side do.

There's no end to this, unless somehow the middle grows and adds a voice of sanity. How likely is that? Doubtful.

Unlike so many hurt feelings, I really think I was on the side of caution and science. I took what I knew and made decisions based on that. I knew and associated with people choosing differently, just kept doing what I thought of the information I had.

When kids kept running into problems heart related after the vaxxes, I was more than alarmed and wrote the same. Told my kids my opinion, which matched up with theirs, though they were vaccinated when IMO not necessary.

I'm pro vax in most cases, Covid was a first for no testing. I never had my kids get hib vaccine, seemed a fake crisis to me, others might feel different.
