Yep. My personal favorite is my .375, scoped, muzzle brake and extra padding on the butt. It still kicks like a mule and I can only shoot it about 3 times before my shoulder says NO MAS! It's extremely accurate, though.

Remington Model 700 in .308. 30X scope. Can hit from 1500 meters.
Get a shooting jacket. Has a padded shoulder. Sucks for me. The shoulder is padded on the right, I shoot from the left.
