    Default praying for rain

I know Mr P is totally sick of the rain and so are my relatives in OK and KS.

We need it so badly though, my grass is a wonderfull shade of brown and it hurts to walk on.

Thought it might rain just now, but all it did was sprinkle for about 3 min and stop, it's taunting me and my poor garden.

I'm in Chicago and we've had more than enough. Usually at this time of year it's pretty brown, light green. Hoping some goes to you.

You guys can have some of ours. My grass is so hydrated, my lawnmower thinks it's a Jack Lalane Juice Extractor.

My weeds aren't even green anymore. Looks so pathetic.

I saw you got rain there a few days ago it just kind of went around us or there is a big umbrella over my house that I'm not aware of.

My oldest can't decide if he wants it to rain so he can make money cutting lawns, or if he wants it to stay dry so he doesn't have to. KIDS sheesh.

We've had years like that, rain all around, but not here. It will happen or won't. Your hubby must be happy with the lawn mowing nonsense.

Well he is happy he didn't spend a lot on fertilizer at the beginning of summer.

I left my two grills on the grass. I live in an association. They went around the grills. Grass is like 5-6' tall. It's cut twice a week. I'm pulling the grills onto patio in the morning, they are busy right now.

    Congrats! Let's hope it's a reasonable amount!
