Very Really. What does a 'sheeve' mean to anyone today?
So felt Thy martyr, Lord;
By Thy right hand sustained,
He waged for Thee the battle’s strife,
And threatened death disdained.
Upon the golden crown
Gazing with eager breath,
He fought as one who fain would die,
And, dying, conquer death.
Thou grace divine, encircling all,
A soundless, shoreless sea!
Wherein at last our souls must fall
O love of God most free!
And though we turn us from thy face,
And wander wide and long,
Thou hold’st us still in thine embrace,
O love of God most strong!
etc...etc...etc..
“… the greatest detractor from high performance is fear: fear that you are not prepared, fear that you are in over your head, fear that you are not worthy, and ultimately, fear of failure. If you can eliminate that fear—not through arrogance or just wishing difficulties away, but through hard work and preparation—you will put yourself in an incredibly powerful position to take on the challenges you face" - Pete Carroll.
