Default If Ross Perot hadn't dropped out of 1992 race

    Would he have won?

He dropped out and then got back in, spoiling it for Bush SR, many believe.

No. He was the original Donald. He split the party. Now, if OTOH he hadn't run at all, would Bush have been reelected? I don't see how rich people that make their money taking it from the poor are somehow qualified to be President.

If Trump wins, I STILL won't like him, but I'll be the first to say I was wrong. But it'll be the first time since Bush the Elder lost that I have been. I'll live with my record.

Perot did EXACTLY what Trump has done. And Trump has more than once threatened to take his toys and go home.

If he had won Trump would lose one of his talking points today. NAFTA GAT the TTP, the economy and trade.
Perots strong point was He was EXACTLY RIGHT about these so-called "free trade" agreements. that they would be selling out all the american workers and the U.S. economy, while the US based stateless international corporation got fatter.

While Bush senior and Clinton/Gore lied... misspoke... about how good it was going to be,

It is proper to take alarm at the first experiment on our liberties. The freeman of America did not wait till usurped power had strengthened itself by exercise, and entangled the question in precedents. James Madison
