dmp. WHAT many former, and present Military members fail to recognize...no matter how long we've been around is....AAFES, and the Navy Exchanges, Commissary systems are designed to MAKE A PROFIT. Luring people to fall for the TAX FREE idea ended LONG, LONG AGO.
Going to WALMART for the same products...even WITH taxes is generally Cheaper. But Don't Tell anybody!

Right - the hook is this: AAFES gives back to DFMWR! Omg - I PROMISE any company agreeing to take it over would do the same thing. AND better-serve the Military community.
