Yeah there's tons of pelicans in Florida too. I was learning to throw a cast net one time off one of the large ocean piers in Florida, don't remember which one exactly, might have been in St. Pete, but I brought a whole bunch of little shiners in the net, and the pelicans will walk right up to, they want some, and if you try and shoo them away, they'll snap at you. More of a warning than actually trying to bite you. Cool birds I think though, kinda ugly but very graceful in flight, big too.

Ever see one of them bastards on the dock, just standing around, and his neck is hanging low? I look very handsome in the mirror, but then turned sideways and I thought maybe I was just fed some sardines too!!

Time for a beard.
