I'm sure every squid on this board hears me. I might kick your ass in the bar in Singapore but you're my ride. I will admit I have a disconnect here. We ALL do our jobs. What makes one of us less than the other? And being a jarhead, I KNOW the crap y'all go through. This is unsat. My congressman's getting a letter. Trust THAT.

DO y'all get retirement and/or VA and that kind of stuff? I hate to sound ignorant but I only know about Coasties from having a humanitarian to a MEPS to take care of my grandmother until she could get back on her feet.

Oh yeah, We get the same pay & bennies (for the rates) that DOD has. Retirement too.

As for VA, yeppers that too. I'm heading out to West Palm tomorrow for a sonogram on the throat and next month I'm getting work done to the stbd paw. (not to mention the knees, the back and other parts damaged during the job)
