I'm just trying to not hijack AT's thread. I remember the Nam War. I grew up in it. And I remember the music. But that was my dad's war. I can remember watching the news to see if he was on it. We had Led Zepplin, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Metallica in my war. But I can save that for another thread. This one's y'all's.

My Grandma L- would go twice a week to those rickety old barracks at Ft Benning. I was like what a shit house. I was 12 or so. They called it the VA. Should have called it VDF -- Veterans Disassociated with and Forgotten. Y'all won that war. The politicians lost it. Don't forget that.
