    Default International Holiday today

That's correct, today is when the NFL season REALLY starts. Yesterday was just the warmup. At 7:10pm EST tonight the Steelers will kickoff duel MNF games!

Tuned in during the 4th quarter and saw ~10minutes of the Steelers winning, congrats. Not a holiday for me though as I did the math and realized my 52nd anniversary of attending my last pro game in coming up on 12/12. Cleveland vs NY Giants at Yankee Stadium 1964, Y. A. Tittles last game. Football fan, just not pro ball.

Steelers looked great for it being their first game of the season!! But I was disappointed. One of my favorite players in Antonio Brown - scored a TD and then "twerked" in the end zone, and got a 15 yard penalty for the "sexual" aspect of it. I hate to see him do crap like that. I love the man, but he doesn't need to do that stuff.

I would give up a finger to see Y.A. play a game!! That's a memory to have.

    Not your trigger finger?

Jim Brown had a hell of a game that day.

And Jim Brown in the same game? Ok, I would go for 2 fingers then, but not the trigger finger).

Not the same I guess, but I did see Willie Mays play. And I don't even like baseball, lol.

Don't blow my mental image of Abbey as a 32 year old redhead!

Ya know, I have to take back my 1st post in this thread. My years in Miami are somewhat cloudy (of what, you know) and I forgot about all the times at the Orange Bowl watching Warfield, Czonka, and the rest of the Dolphins. Good years I'm sure. If I could only remember.

Look, that's so sweet! I'm afraid 32 is well in the rear view mirror.

Mays was ending his career with the Mets when I saw him. Truth to tell, I was more interested to see Tom Seaver.
