    Indeed.

One of the benefits of rooting for a team that hasn't been in a series for over 100 years, legions all over the country are for them. I kid you not! Today 3 different cars in Sedona flying the W flag, folks dressed in Cubs swag.

Ok, there's many Bears and Blackhawks fans too, but the Cubs seem to get more!

Last night's game was horrifying and painful. And still probably more entertaining than the debate.

HUGE game 5 tonight. End of the 3rd inning and the Cubbies are up 1-0, with their Ace John Lester pitching. I love the Cubs, just not against my Dodgers. But whoever wins tonight - the other team would need to win 2 straight to beat them.

I feel cheated. My favorite team for a little over 40 years now. I don't want to share my team with a liberal. Having something in common makes me feel 'dirty'.

I'll say it now, no sour grapes in baseball for me. Man, if the Cubs beat my team, I'll surely be rooting for them to win the series!!! 108 years of futility down the drain. Who couldn't like to see that happen?

Want to see the Cubs win to break that 108 year drought!
I have lost my mind. If found, please give it a snack and return it?

Oh well, I knew that the Dodgers' lack of pitching depth would eventually get them into trouble.

Onto Chicago and listening to the White Sox son complain how living on the North Side, has one fault, Wrigley Field. LOL!

The Cubs are now up 3 games to 2 AND the games go back to Cubby Land. It'll be tough for the Dodgers to have another October miracle!! At least for starters, in game 6 tomorrow night will be Clayton Kershaw. Hopefully he'll be "on" his game and lead us to a game 7!!!! Gonna be fun to watch without a doubt.

Bill Murray addressed the Kershaw factor today, from the WH briefing room, :

    http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/...g-room-n670811

    ...

Murray came to Washington to receive the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on Sunday, but arrived early to discuss the award — and likely Chicago sports as well — with the president.

Murray's beloved Cubs are one win away from their first World Series appearance since 1945, leading the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-2 in a seven-game series. Though Obama is a noted fan of the Chicago White Sox, he has stated he will support his team's crosstown rival.

Murray told the press that while Los Angeles Dodgers pitching ace Clayton Kershaw was undoubtedly excellent, the Chicago Cubs had "too many sticks," pointing to his team's powerful offense.

    Gotta love Rizzo:

Why all kids should see Anthony Rizzo apologize to MLB umpire

Even if you aren't a baseball fan, Chicago Cubs' first baseman Anthony Rizzo's apology to an umpire last night is worth paying attention to and sharing with your tweens and teens.

The Cubs are battling the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series, and the winner heads to the World Series. In last night's game, Rizzo apologized to home plate umpire Angel Hernandez when he came up to bat in the seventh inning. Rizzo had disagreed with him on a prior call.

In no way are cubs guaranteed victory. Los Angeles has the two pitchers who beat them scheduled for games 6 and 7
