    Default Big Ben goes down

Ben made a lame pass, was barely touched, but then grabbed his left knee. He limped off, but came back to play the second half. But last night it was revealed he had a torn meniscus and is having surgery today. I assume 6-8 weeks minimum.

NFL is over for the year.

Cheer up, the Cowboys are still winning. Right up to where Hones blows the QB situation out his rear.

At least I'm out of Cardinals/Broncos territory now. It was a trade for 2 granddaughters that won't let me watch the game anyway.

And we play Brady and the Pats next week - I'll say it already, we will get KILLED next week.

Landry Jones is our backup - I know, you never heard of him!!

Our 3rd string is Zach Mettenberger - who officially holds a 0-10 record in the NFL when he played for the Titans. Granted, that team sucked, but still.

Well, the Steelers might want to bring the rreal defense. 200+ yards to the Dolphins?

I haven't seen a Steelers Game this year. Those uptight nurses and 90 years old inmates at the asylum would rather watch Andy Griffith. I got a l lot of Nat Geo in.

Steelers ain't looking so hot. They pull a Jerry Jones and trade off half the starting defense?

And yeps, I'll take it gracefully, unfortunately.

Since Brady has come back the Patriots look unbeatable. Brady never missed a beat. I'm man enough to admit, I think they may have won even if Ben was healthy. The only advantage we had at full health was home field next week - but our defense. Bleck.

Don't know. Pittsburgh isn't one for coming back from a defensive embarrasment in a graceful manner. Who's the backup? Don't say Romo ....

Landry Jones, and then Zach Mettenberger

Landry Jones career stats: And really only 2015 counts, but it doesn't inspire confidence in seeing the playoffs.

    Exactly.

He filled in for Ben as you can see last year, and wasn't "horrible", but we ain't beating the Patriots with him - nor we will "dominate" anyone with him as QB.
