Totally off-topic, but have you ever heard of the Thomas Point Lighthouse Bed & Breakfast? I think it closed several years ago. It had an actual light on the property, but it wasn't a lighthouse per se. Great little place right on the Chesapeake.

I am making this ABUNDANTLY clear, I did NOT trash talk anyone. The only trash talking you witnessed, as it was recorded at my sisters house. I DID tell OCA to NOT go after AT as he had wanted to, and I told him that he was an older fella and a grumpy fella, and no need to lay into him. Yes, I called him old, grumpy and set in his ways. And that's EXACTLY what I hope to be when I get older than the 48 I am now.

I have a ton of respect for AT, and it's grown over time. Members that end up staying for quite awhile here at DP, kind of become part of our family here. Nope, we ain't a big board, but we do make for a big family.

If there was anyone that I TRULY had ANY issue with, they could easily be banned,or thread banned or whatever. But no one really even comes close to that level, other than someone who recently came back from another very long ban himself. This can all go a few ways, and that's not up to me, only those posting can choose what they post.

jim. Thanks very much for those words. I know I have been a grump, old, and set in my ways. That just comes with experience, and dealing with life's challenges that make waking up every morning....a blessing. I have learned, getting older kinda gives me the right to finally express myself, despite all the opposition, and years in uniform when the FIRST AMENDMENT never applied, so I had to remain tight-lipped if I wanted to stay out of trouble, or Leavenworth...due to my job.
The great thing is jim. I can now feel comfortable, laughing at everyone who hates, despises, won't listen to me because I am older. And the laughter comes from knowing, IF THEY ARE LUCKY like me, to reach my age. They will have younger idiots making fun of them...And that is worth Laughing at!
