One By Design, The Other By Mere Chance

In valley of dying echoes, low moans
slow gasps, with silver inlaid overtones;
lives two rivals, infinite powers each,
both waging their wars, to mortal man teach.

Time and Fate, each destroying with dark glance.
One by design, the other by mere chance.

Mortal life, chained to such powerful foes
man seeing such truth in his dying throes;
coming into this evil realm to die,
with hope to someday into heaven fly.

Time and Fate, each destroying with dark glance.
One by design, the other by mere chance.

Walking through life, in a crawling blind trance
searching for more, for life saving romance;
while days and nights in sad flurries sail on,
man wallows and sings in a grievous tone.

Time and Fate, each destroying with dark glance.
One by design, the other by mere chance.
