Light Did Shine From Her Smile, Such Grace

She graced all with her gentle ways
she so loved to help the poor strays;
There resides softness in her voice
thinking well of all by first choice,
Light did shine from her smile, such grace
her good deeds, nothing can erase.

Was through winter snow that she came
brought comfort with her just her name;
Now this abyss shows she is gone
her admirers feel so alone,
Light did shIne from her smile, such grace
her good deeds, nothing can erase.

Set all with wonderment and awe
her absence seems our greatest fall;
For now dawn comes in cold and dim
sorrows as in lost lover's film,
Light did shine from her smile, such grace
her good deeds, nothing can erase.

Spring's blessings saw her fly away
its joys turned to deepest of grays;
From whence she came nobody knew
her leaving sent waves of deep blue,
Light did shine from her smile, such grace
her good deeds, nothing can erase.

O' yes we kneel, pray her return
rekindling love's fires that burn;
Tho' Time answers not our sad plea
nor explains the why she did flee,
Light did shine from her smile, such grace
her good deeds, nothing can erase.

We beg our angel come again
we are lost in a swirling spin;
We wonder why we were blessed
none of our sins had we confessed,
Light did shine from her smile, such grace
her good deeds, nothing can erase.

Now many decades have thus flown
our love for her has only grown;
Some few say they have seen her light
as it brightened their darkest night,
Light did shine from her smile, such grace
her good deeds, nothing can erase.

She graced all with her gentle ways
she so loved to help the poor strays;
There resides softness in her voice
thinking well of all by first choice,
Light did shine from her smile, such grace
her good deeds, nothing can erase.
