For all you older folk with brain cells still left ... remember the selling point to cable TV? You pay money so you get no ads. So now I get 300 channels or some crap and 200 of them are Marie Osmond, Time Life, Dr Who the Hell Ever, and Humana.

Not sure. I didn't see color tv until I was 10 or so. Color revealed a lot of hokey stuff.

And I can't tell the difference between a blu ray, DVD or vhs to this day.

Both the Lady & I saw a "depth" in pictures on the screen, BUT you have to have HDTV coming in.

We don't from the Direct TV, but on DVD's or on streamed shows via Netflix (or the like) is when we picked it up.

Yeah, I remember those days. You can't now because they sync the commercials. Middle of the night they are horrendous. I don't care about your pillow nor your fat ass and don't want a strung out, 2 minute long infomercial on Alyssa Milano's starving pets. Everything is "For "just" $19 a month..."

Hell, I can save the world if I just don't eat. Or pay rent. But I can get the best pillow ever and I got news for Marie and all the fatasses ... a stay in the hospital will cut through all screwy crap you're selling. You can lose 60 pounds in 40 days. Try eating their food. You can lose 10 more.

I never saw any greatness in his singing. That type of singing was never my cup of tea. Give me solid country, hard rock, blues, jazz or even more refined music.
But the kiddie stuff the Osmonds were, I never gave it a second look or listen.
