I mostly don't care, not unless my team picks in maybe the top 5, which they aren't just this year. This draft is weird, IMO. where there don't seem to be any superstars, but do have a bunch of QB's and RB's, so you just never know. And instead of a lame crapshoot, let's have some fun for opening day of the draft if anyone is interested! It appears the picking starts on 4/27 of this month, I couldn't name but more than a player or 2, so who knows how things go down. And I honestly believe, that outside of some psychos that know everyone, this will be a guessing crapshoot.

I guess on day one it's nothing more than the first round picks for each time. But I'm more interested in the first 10 picks of this draft. I could pick that draft 5 times and come up with 50 new players. Just a weird draft.

---

Here's my proposal. Anyone joining gets to pick 6 plays in ANY order, to maker it easy. Your 6 just need to be picked in the first 10 picks. SURE, there is one or 2 talking about going up top, and then the next day they drop 4 players, then back up, then some not very well known players sckyrocketing. It could go anyway!!

The official First round draft is one week from this evening.

Here is what I am proposing. We shoot for a minimum of 10 players involved (maybe 5 if no one interested?) But you DON'T need to be an expert, or be an NFL expert.... there are TONS of mock drafts out there picking them, maybe use one of them and get lucky? Or just choose your own.

So you pick 10 players for day one. You submit it to me via PM. At the same time you send 10$ via Paypal to my account. That should be about $100 when ready, unless we get a couple more of less. I'll pay any differences myself if less. Whoever gets the most wins the total prize!! If 2 tied, or 3 tied they split it equally! Lots of fun, and $10 or less on the line is all.'

And if someone wants to play and have fun, but feels clueless - I'm more than happy to help, and without steering wrong. Abbey is familiar with the NFL. Gunny is familiar. DMP is very familiar. NT knows... but more importantly?

You will find many similar, and take a chance and go with one of them. Of use your own brains and pick someone else!!

1 Cleveland logo Cleveland Myles Garrett* DE Texas A&M 6' 5" 262
DraftSite's comments: We are not buying the fact that Mitch Trubisky is in play here. Garrett is the best player available and he fills a need for Cleveland. Too much talk regarding whether he is a game changing player. Ask Oakland about young Khalil Mack or Atlanta about Vic Beasley and see whether they feel they are game changing players.
2 San Francisco logo San Francisco Solomon Thomas** DE Stanford 6' 2" 280
DraftSite's comments: We feel rather confident Thomas is the selection here. The big question is will this be San Francisco selecting at #2. The 49ers seem the most likely candidate of teams selecting in the top 5 that will be looking to move back. Reuben Foster would be the likely target if we see San Fran back up in the order.
3 Chicago logo Chicago Jamal Adams* S LSU 6' 0" 215
DraftSite's comments: Jonathan Allen remains a possibility as he seems to be the best player available, long term, right here. Picking a player in the secondary like Adams or Malik Hooker would point more towards a player the Bears can start from Day 1 for an immediate impact.
4 Jacksonville logo Jacksonville Leonard Fournette* RB LSU 6' 0" 240
DraftSite's comments: Free agency for Jacksonville has focused on the defense. Here Jacksonville gets offensive talent around the maligned Blake Bortles.
5 Tennessee logo Tennessee Trade Icon Marshon Lattimore** CB Ohio State 6' 1" 192
DraftSite's comments: McCourty was given his walking papers by the Titans seemingly to select a corner at the #5 spot overall.
6 NY Jets logo NY Jets Marlon Humphrey** CB Alabama 6' 1" 195
DraftSite's comments: A few different players in play here including Malik Hooker and O.J. Howard. Buster Skrine and the newly acquired Morris Claiborne stand as the starting corners right now. Humphrey would see immediate time as the #3 corner.
7 LA Chargers logo LA Chargers Malik Hooker** S Ohio State 6' 2" 205
DraftSite's comments: The long term solution to Eric Weddle could be attained here although if Jonathan Allen is available he would draw consideration.
8 Carolina logo Carolina Christian McCaffrey* RB Stanford 5' 11" 202
DraftSite's comments: This makes perfect sense for Carolina. It's possible McCaffrey could see more time split out as a receiver than running the football.
9 Cincinnati logo Cincinnati Jonathan Allen DT Alabama 6' 3" 283
DraftSite's comments: Allen falls right into the laps of the Bengals here. Linebacker is a bigger need but the Bengals will not turn away the talent of Allen.
10 Buffalo logo Buffalo Mike Williams WR Clemson 6' 4" 218
DraftSite's comments: Williams has the been the targets of the Bills in many of our mocks and it continues here.

SO all of those interested.

Look at day ONE draft of the NFL on the 27th next week. You ALL get to make 10 picks, but they only count if they are actually chosen in the top 10. So everyone makes 10 picks - and whoever ends up with the most picks that end up in the NFL top 10 for the draft that day? You take all the loot!! And of course, as usual, just for fun. If as planned, and say 10 folks play, each submit 10, the winner can take $100!!

1 - Go through all the draft choices and pick 10 you think will get drafted very high
2 - Send that list to me privately, along with $10 to donate at the top of the board, or just directly donate $10 to stlrsfan@optonline.net - Any fees taken out when sent to me, I will gladly make up for that when we pay a winner.
3 - We will monitor as the week goes on and know a winner by next Friday morning, and we'll have a winner!
