I use the cleaning wipes like that too. But them fuckers tend to smear, and then I sit there for 10 minutes with the fiber cloth anyway.

400 is a tad excessive. I only clean mine when they're smudged or something, only when I notice it.

I'm probably the only idiot around here that ruined a $400 pair of glasses by using Windex on them - turns out that the ammonia ate the anti-glare coating of metal they put on those and presto! Millions of tiny cracks that made the glasses almost impossible to see through.

Just hot water and dry with a soft bath towel for me works just fine.

jim. I've been wearing glasses almost all of my life. Used to clean them several times a day, but learned to keep my fingers away from them.
Today, maybe three times a day. My wife and I use LENS CLEANING WIPES. sold almost everywhere they have a pharmacy section. $5.00 for a Box of 100.
