When is enough going to be enough? Are they truly prepping for some sort of war? And the same questions as before - how does the international community get them to stop? Sanctions don't seem to do much, as you see some eating grass, and yet the missiles continue. IMO - Send in jets from like 20 countries and completely take out their missile/nuke sites & communication sites. I'm sure @NightTrain will list some other areas that should be taken out. And I'm sure some others will tell me why we can't.

But I think something needs to be done, other than sitting back for years saying that something needs to be done, and really not doing anything.

BREAKING NEWS - North Korea test fires ANOTHER ballistic missile two weeks after its last attempt ended in failure

North Korea fired on Sunday an unidentified projectile from a region near its west coast, South Korea's military said.

The nature of the projectile is not immediately clear, a South Korean military official said, though local media reports that it appears to be a ballistic missile.

The launch took place at a region named Kusong located northwest of the capital, Pyongyang, where the North previously test-launched an intermediate-range missile it is believed to be developing.

If confirmed the launch would be the first in two weeks since the last attempt ended in a failure just minutes into flight.

The North attempted but failed to test-launch ballistic missiles four consecutive times in the past two months but has conducted a variety of missile testing since the beginning of last year at an unprecedented pace.

Weapons experts and government officials believe the North has accomplished some technical progress with those tests.

According to our media, N Korea is reportedly looking for talks with the US, but 'if the conditions are right for it'.

My thinking ... their giving up any nuclear capability is the last thing the 'fat boy' wants. BUT, I also think that their tests aren't nearly as successful as they'd hoped for and expected, so, they want talks with the US purely and simply to defuse things just enough to buy much-needed time.

They'll use that time to do all they can to refine their missile delivery systems.

They probably think that all the prevarication that was involved with the likes of Iran, and all of that leading to a nuclear deal which only favors Iran (!) ... is a form of status quo they can replicate to fit their own circumstances. Prevarication, buying time to upgrade their technology, is all they seek ... until the day dawns when US territory is truly within viable striking range ...

Trump still has a window of opportunity. He'd be wise to use it ... soon, before it closes. Preferably with China's consent ... but if he can't get all the cooperation he needs, and VERY SOON, then I think he should act as he's said he will, and take care of the N Korea problem unilaterally. Give China their shot at useful cooperation first, so as to make it clear to China that if they fail, then the alternative is rendered unavoidable.

I don't see it. He loves himself too much. For his and Kim Jung Il's talk, they've essentially done nothing but rattle their sabres for attention. They got concessions out of Clinton and they've tried every President since.
