    Default Ultimate Hunting Rig

Made in Russia, it's bigger than a Suburban, 8x8, fully independent suspension, 18" clearance, amphibious, diesel powered, 650 mile range, seats 8 (or 4 with fold-out beds).

Since it's an off road vehicle, the Feds won't have much to say about owning one... but it still would take a bit of footwork to get one shipped, I imagine.

For only $200k, you can own one of these magnificent machines!

"Only" $200K? If I decide to go hunting I think I'll stick with the GMC. thanks. As it stands, I "hunt" in the meat secition at HEB (grocery store). I can get more steaks in my 3/4 ton than I can afford.

Ohh..it looks snazzy, but who would want to get it dirty inside?
I have lost my mind. If found, please give it a snack and return it?

Well, we all know that 'Hunting' covers a lot of ground. For me, it's mostly getting out there and exploring new areas... and if a moose or caribou happens to cross paths, that's where the real work begins. This baby would take you to most of them with a little restraint on your part. I'm all about being selective these days, with an eye to the actual retrieval.

It's been my experience that the one you want is across a nipple-deep swamp, or a bottomless ravine, or some other such obstacle. I pass those by after learning valuable & painful lessons, but inevitably there's a knucklehead that takes the shot.

"Ummm... you got it. Now wtf do we do? Got a raft or a helicopter?"

Looking at it again, I would have to imagine you would need to be cognizant of fuel consumption.

650 mile range... that's pretty impressive for any vehicle! Holds 69 gallons of diesel, and I imagine it wouldn't be hard to take along extra fuel. A couple of poly-drums like I use for my boat would work fine.
