...A new study says that Islam will pass Christianity as the world’s largest religion by 2070.
The report says that in 2050, Muslims will make up 10% of the European population. But they will number only 2.1% in the United States.
Interestingly, the study also says that the number of atheists and non-religious affiliated will decline globally.
This may very well be, but, like many statistical studies, it is mainly just an extrapolation of current numbers over time. Muslims have a higher birth rate than Christians do, so if we graph that out, their numbers will be higher by 2070.
Other scenarios are not factored in.
For example, what if some of the 10% of the European population that has an Islamic heritage convert to Christianity, now that they can be exposed to it? That may depend on Christianity reviving in Europe, but that is not outside the possibility of the grace of God. Or what if the brutality of ISIS and the Islamic terrorism that is rampant in the Middle East creates a reaction against the religion? Or what if the Westernization of Islamic countries creates a decline in the birth rate? Or what if the Christian birth rate shoots up?
Lots of things can happen, there being many more variables and unpredictabilities in life than a single statistical trend....
And I have to ask how many Muslims are Muslims in name only out of FEAR, and social pressure.
I've met Muslims that are practical atheist/agnostics when they talk to me but when around their faithful Muslim "brothers" can talk the Muslim talk as if it's 2nd nature.

Predicting the future is no easy thing.
but it seems to me Islam's "growth" is not a guarantee.
the number of children of those that are truly faithful is the best hope it has.

One thing's for sure God is not going to let Islam grow any farther than HE wills.
And he's not a promoter of false prophets.
It's been limited to the M.E. mostly for the past thousand years for a reason.
And now the world has gotten a better look at it, and it's not a pretty or a image that invites new converts.

..Fertility, Faith, and the Decline of Islam: Strategic Implications
    BY DAVID P. GOLDMAN FEBRUARY 11, 2013
The liberal establishment has finally taken note of the elephant in the Muslim parlor, namely the closing of the Muslim womb. A year after the American Enterprise Institute's Nicholas Eberstadt reported the precipitous fall in Muslim fertility in a widely commented paper, and seven years after I reported the trend and its strategic implications at Asia Times, Washington Post columnist David Ignatius reports wide-eyed on Eberstadt's findings:

The Arab world may be experiencing a youth bulge now, fueling popular uprisings in Tunisia, Egypt and elsewhere. But as Eberstadt notes, what’s ahead over the next generation will probably be declines in the number of working-age adults and rapidly aging populations. The Arab countries are now struggling with what Eberstadt calls their “youthquake.” But the coming dilemma, he notes, is “how these societies will meet the needs of their graying populations on relatively low income levels.”
Why does Ignatius suddenly find this important? Perhaps the frustration of the establishment's hopes for the Arab world in the form of state failure in Syria and Egypt and Libya (and perhaps also Tunisia) has provoked an interest in deeper causes. Both the liberal establishment as well as the Republican mainstream embraced the Arab Spring, but now recoil in horror from the consequences.

The evidence has been there for years in the United Nations database. In September 2006 I warned that the Muslim world was heading towards a demographic catastrophe.

By 2050, elderly dependents will comprise nearly a third of the population of some Muslim nations, notably Iran -- converging on America's dependency ratio at mid-century. But it is one thing to face such a problem with America's per capita gross domestic product (GDP) of $40,000, and quite another to face it with Iran's per capita GDP of $7,000 -- especially given that Iran will stop exporting oil before the population crisis hits. The industrial nations face the prospective failure of their pension systems. But what will happen to countries that have no pension system, where traditional society assumes the care of the aged and infirm? In these cases it is traditional society that will break down, horribly and irretrievably so.
My 2011 book How Civilizations Die (and Why Islam is Dying, Too) assembled evidence that the decline of Islam as a religion explained collapsing fertility, just as the decline of Catholicism explained collapsing fertility in lands once blessed by large families -- Spain, Italy, Poland, Ireland, and Quebec. Iran's total fertility rate plunged to an estimated 1.6% in 2010, barely above Europe's rate of 1.5 children per female. In 1979, when the Islamists took power in Iran, the average woman bore seven children. Nothing like this sudden snapping shut of the national womb has ever happened before in all of history. And the rest of the Muslim world is headed in the same direction.

“Something really big is under way -- and practically no one has noticed it, even in the Arab world,” Ignatius quotes an e-mail from Eberstadt, one of the best conservative economists working today. But I don't think it is quite accurate to say that "practically no one has noticed it." On the contrary, Islamist leaders like Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan have been shouting from the rooftops about the trend for the past five years, as my book reports. Excluding the independence-hungry Kurdish minority, Turkey's fertility rate is probably around 1.5 children per female, about the same as Iran's, and a guarantee of national decline.

Such evil never goes away, as it is eternally inspired by Lucifer. Islam is truly in league with that darkness.
On that truth I would bet my life...
As Islam during its 1400+ year history has murdered over 250 million people( that is the low estimate), far likely true number is far greater.
No other entity in mankind's long and dark history can even come close to that number of murders.
And Islam in this country is only waiting its rise to enough power here to overthrow and murder millions here.
That is a solid gold fact based upon its one true goal and its long history of conquering by the sword.

Police, strangers fix 95-year-old's air conditioner after Texas heat prompts him to dial 911

    • By NICOLE PELLETIERE

    Jun 13, 2017, 1:07 PM ET

Police and strangers came to an elderly man's rescue last week after he dialed 911 to report his broken air conditioning unit.

On June 8, the Fort Worth, Texas, Police Department answered a call from 95-year-old Julius Hatley, who said his central air had stopped working in the 90-degree heat.

"I know we're not A/C repair people, but we got done with one call and went straight there," Officer Christopher Weir told ABC News today. "I started sweating immediately, as soon as I got there. [Hatley] said he woke up in sweat and didn't know what to do, so he called us."

Weir, 31, and his partner, Officer William Margolis, drove to a local Home Depot to purchase a window A/C for Hatley out of their own pockets. When they arrived, the store's managers insisted on contributing $150 toward the unit.

Weir and his colleagues then installed the unit in Hatley's house until they could figure out how to pay someone to repair his central air.

"He was grateful," Weir said. "His smile is infectious and he's a World War II vet and he shouldn't have to be with no A/C. Once in a while, we see people where we can do something that makes them feel better and it makes us feel better too."

Hatley's story aired on the local news in Fort Worth. Watching was Matt Ketchum, owner of the Lone Star Refrigeration company based in Red Oak, Texas.

"In the story, they were trying to figure out how to get the [central] air fixed," Ketchum told ABC News. "I called the Fort Worth Police Department that night telling them we'll donate our time and materials."

Ketchum repaired Hatley's central air system free of charge.

Hatley was appreciative of the kindness shown toward him over the two days, Ketchum said.
"My brother is law enforcement as well," he added. "My employees are veterans. Something clicked to have me help."

there are Billions of muslims in the world now.
some living in our neighborhood probably but somehow there's peace with most of them.
If we're being objective, and not looking for a new boggieman after the cold war, those facts will matter in how we deal with "islam" as well.

your response ignored the elephant in the room, as usual. They haven't been able to rule the word because THEY HSVE BEEN STOPPED. BY FORCE. And not the force of words they don't listen to any-damned way.

That glaring truth, seems to be ignored most of the time--as only violence and superior force stopped them every time.
Prayers, appeasement, wishful thinking and head in the sand did not do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And those failing things (minus the prayer part) are what the left/libs/socialists and dems demand we do...

As absolute unmerciful savages they only respond to superior brute force!
History proves that and such can not be denied....
Kill them, defeat them --only that stops (temporarily) their evil advance. A fact..
All other avenues are recipes for absolute defeat and destruction, which is why they and their allies demand those other totally worthless avenues be pursued..-Tyr

Reagan is responsible for the collapse of the USSR. SDI was ridiculed roundly by the democrats as an impossible fantasy, but Gorbachev knew it was possible with our resources and enough time. The Russians tried to develop their own, but they simply could not throw the kind of big money we could at the problem. Lo and behold, look at what we have today. Once the laser technology matures, we will have a shield for North America against nukes... I don't think missile-to-missile is practicable ( even though it's proven - it's still very expensive to launch a missile for every warhead intercept ) but a bridge until lasers are integrated into our defense system for a few cents per shot - the expensive part is up front.

Plus, our long range bombers and stealth technology were coming along nicely (again, at incredible expense) and the Soviets could not begin to compete with developing such technologies. They, and China, are working on stealth right now but both are decades behind and as we all know, that is a tremendous amount of time in technological terms.

Add that incredible economic military strain with "Tear down this wall!" and the commies folded.

    Ronald Reagan really was brilliant.

As the reports state many muslims are NOT on board with the crazy wahabist version of Islam.
And God don't like ugly, or false religions so I suspect it will peter out but never really die.

    Light cast out darkness folks.
do you believe it or or not?
I don't believe that most muzzies are against the slaughter of non-muslims. I think there is a silent majority quietly approving & condoning such attacks, with lip service about being peaceful.

I firmly believe most are like Jafar - proclaiming he's peaceful but yet would not ever condemn Hamas killing sprees. It spoke volumes and we have several years worth of his cute little dance as he tried to justify, deflect and cover up brutal wholesale murders. There are many, many millions of muzzies just like him and you're not going to get honest answers in a poll with the knowledge that Police would certainly come visit if you communicated your dark beliefs to the pollster. Everyone knows the NSA is monitoring worldwide communications of every kind and the muzzies aren't stupid - so we get lip service.

In Revelations, I believe islam is the major key player for evil in the worldwide conflict. I can't prove that, of course, but it makes sense when you look around the world today and see where things are headed. Especially the impossible position that Europe is in - the muslim problem is now entrenched with no way to remove them and the idiots responsible for it are still proclaiming there's nothing to worry about as their civilians are blown up, shot, raped, run over and stabbed. The fact that the police and governments are downplaying, banning reporting of, and actually covering up muslim atrocities whenever possible and enacting laws prohibiting speech addressing the ideology behind these crimes in the interest of being PC should alarm the hell out of every single person in Europe.

And, incredibly, the very people that are being targeted are stupidly nodding in agreement as they're led to slaughter because they don't want to be the one shouting that the Emperor Has No Clothes.

Also in Revelations, it says that only the 2nd coming of Jesus will end the conflict between the muzzies and the Jews... so while it's a noble concept to at least try to achieve peace in the Middle East, it's not going to happen anytime soon. We still have a lot of interesting events to go before peace & harmony happens.
