    Default Dog Days

are here. I don't like 'hot! hot!' but I like cold even less. Now here I sit and the temps are going to be crazy for awhile, while not Phoenix or Tucson, plenty hot! hot! for me:

98 today, goes up to 108 by Sunday, to 111 by Tuesday, then starts falling. Down to 105 by next Thursday. AC and cold drinks!

Not quite summer weather here. Low 80s at mid day. Needs to be warmer so we can all go to the beach.

Yikes! I would have 4 air conditioners running at the same time! LOL

I suppose it ain't that bad if you can avoid sitting in it and melting, but dang. It was 3 days in a row here in the 90's and I was complaining. Hell, the wimps in Philly actually canceled school due to the heat in the mid 90's.

But 111? That's death material! Gotta set the AC to like 8 degrees to get it down to 70.

What's the "hot" portion of the year there, and how bad? Is it true that SD has like 70-75 all year round? I've only been to SF, and it was a business trip, so it didn't really count.

I just came back from Prescott, had a 9:20 appt. When I left home around 7:30, it was 78. An hour later in Prescott, which is about 5600 ft up, it was 72. Left Prescott, (after a quick shop at Trader Joe's) around 9:45, it was 76. Now at home, 89. Sigh. Too hot to walk outside and so far I'm too pooped to get dressed for gym.

So I just put the two flavored Chevre in fridge-to go with the ginger snaps. Meanwhile, grabbed another iced coffee and some Meyer Lemon Thin Crisps. I think I feel a nap coming on. Then studying. LOL! AC is just a fact of life this week.

Well, I probably haven't bought it in 20 years, but I know I would still eat it if it were here!

Most foods at Trader Joe's make me wanna vomit, but they have some good hidden treasures. I don't know why, but the one by me, maybe cuz I'm in NY, seems like a liberal hangout. Don't even ask me why, just feels that way.

You are so damned dumb sometimes @jimnyc. She lives in the Hi Desert. 111 there isn't 111 where you are. And what a damned candy ass. 4 ACs.

Last time I went to Phoenix, it was 112 degrees. The humidity was extremely low. So it only felt like 92 or so.

So... what is the weather forecast...

Fortunately I'm not in Phoenix. OTOH, the 'dry heat' only works for me up to about 90, then it's just 'hot, hot!!' Especially true above 102.
